in all honesty man that what i wish i had done its not that bad if u do naval reserve you'll be stationed at gulfport an work the first weekend of every month i think they still do the $20K signing bonus to do reserve an you'll get the GI Bill meaning u get like $40K for college plus if your eagle scouts make sure u have your paperwork and u can join as E3 trey so you'll make more money...if your not one adam i can help u learn some **** an u can take a test in boot camp to get E3 outta boot camp

 

idk if i wanna join the reserves or not.

i keep tellin myself, if i do it, i'm doin it full time lol

 

full time is fun just alot less guarentees and alot more bullshit to deal with i mean its nice but after 3 years in i wish i had done reserve because because u get to live where u want, u have alot more time to go to college an all that as well as set yourself up with a good future because u can get a job while your in an all that....if your looking to join what kinda job did u wanna do or field of work did u want to be in?

we can all get together sometime an figure out exactly what ya'll want an i can get if planned out for ya'll an answer most your question because honestly for what u do an what u make it's one of the easiest jobs and IF ANY OF U TALK TO A RECRUITER I WANNA BE THERE TO CALL BS WHEN THEY LIE plus if ya'll join an sign up together u can go to Boot Camp together in the same Division an if ya'll do the same job you'll be in the same class to learn that as well

i was the same lol but me an my friend signed up together lol that helps alot having a friend with u in bootcamp

adam if u do mechanic...you'll go to Bootcamp in Greatlakes, IL about 30 minutes from Chicago than you'll go to A School in Port Hueneme CA which is bout 45 minutes from LA for about 3 months to learn your Rate and than pending if u did active you'll go to where ever they choose to station u or if your reserve you'll come back here and check into your command at Gulfport

A few times i looked back and laughed and said i felt a duck with its little ducklings following me every where i go. Lol had a blast tho. I just got way to hot at the end.

 

if your lookin to go to the Medical Field it would be HM in the navy which is Hospital Man....and i basically know nothing about it lol other than the rate is Locked up meaning its hard as hell to make rank and advance to the next paygrade ie. (from E4 all the way up) because there are so many in the navy right now

Yeah I called him on our way there and left him a voice mail. He called back twice when we was out riding. But yeah we'll get him to go.

 

theres a couple rates locked up right now but i know HM is locked up pretty bad

but the major thing is unless your an officers your really won't do to much medically as a HM other than take vitals an stuff like that theres a couple circumstances where you will but majorly its just stuff like that and writing people slips to get out of work when there sick or injured
