NC Coby Meets
This is your local Coby Meet Forum.
everytime anyone wants to get a meet together post it here so that we can all see where and when. im looking to have them twice a month at least. they dont have to be in Jacksonville all the time so let us know where and when everyone would like to get together and we can make it happen.
Meet 2 officially: sunday august 31st at the Roses store parking lot. in Jacksonville NC at 1200, on Western Blvd.

I DIDNT KNOW WHERE EVERYONE WAS AT BUT, I FIGURED I'D PUT IT OUT THERE FOR EVERYONE SO IN THE FUTURE IF THE MEET GETS MOVED AWAY FROM HERE EVERYONE WOULD BE ABLE TO ATTEND.
I HAVE BEEN HAVING THEM HERE JUST BECAUSE I STARTED IT HERE. IN THE FUTURE WE MAY MOVE MORE TOWARDS RALEIGH SO MORE CAN ATTEND.

WHERE: CRAB TREE MALL, RALEIGH NC./PIEDMONT DRAGWAY
WHEN: OCTOBER 19TH 10:00AM
We will meet for a few hours till everyone shows up and then we are going to cruise to the Piedmont Dragway where they are having "Chevy Day" and test-n-tune street legal drags.
The gates open at noon and they run the track from 1-4pm. If you plan to run i suggest you bring a helmet just incase they aren't optional. also bring enough money for food and entry into the track...
As of this morning i have 15 Coby's confirmed showing to the meet.

Driving Directions
Coming from Burlington: Take exit 141 and turn left and stay on until it dead-ends into Hwy 61 and turn left and then turn right onto Holt's Store Road.
Coming from Greensboro: Take exit 132, the Mt. Hope Church Road exit and turn right and go approximately 6 miles and turn left on Holt's Store Road and the track is about 1/4 mile on the right.
Piedmont Dragway is an IHRA sanctioned 1/8th mile all concrete dragstrip located near Greensboro, NC. Located in Central NC, between Greensboro and Burlington, Piedmont has provided racers and fans an excellent operation for over 50 years. With the track changing ownership back in June of 2007, expect new and big things in 2008 under our first full event and racing schedule.

No helmet needed if I remember correctly, it is an 1/8 track.

AaronClark and some of us Jville coby's are going to cruise up to Raliegh this Sunday to speak with the security at the mall, to make sure it will be alright for us to meet in their parking lot before we all cruise over to the track.

yeah we are just doing a cruise to check out the spot but if you want to meet us here is my number 910-787-2417. we are going to leave jax at 1200 and we will be to Raleigh around 2-2:30. depending on traffic and if we get lost...
