not one ss/tc in the state of florida!

as the title says i have been looking for 2 weeks for any cobalt ss/tc in florida at any dealership and there has not been one. the dealership i talked to said as soon as they find one they will have it delivered to them and i will buy it from there. my only criteria was not yellow and under 20k and no luck for 2 weeks. i cant believe how rare this car is. if anybody on here sells their car to a dealership or ever sees one at a dealership then lemme kno because i will be buying it pronto!

yea ive looked at craigslist, autotrader etc. but im going to buy through this dealership. my family has bought 3 cars from this one and they it will get a full inspection upon arrival (compression test, check clutch etc.) and you cant beat financing through gmac which i can get 2.9%. they said if i can find any in the state of florida, the delivery charge is free to me. if anybody finds one lemme kno

I was lucky getting mine. I was saving up until the end of August then I was gonna find one but then I didn't realize they stopped making them about a month or two earlier! Had my dealership look all over Canada to find 5 left in Ontario, three were sold that day, one the day before and the fifth one the dealership wouldn't call back so my Salesman sent an e-mail to every dealership in western Canada and one dealership in Edmonton was getting a lease buy back 2010 in that afternoon. Some old rich guy leases a car in the summer for 6 month and a truck in the winter for 6 months and has been doing it for quite awhile so i got my basically brand new car with only 3500kms on it. I was extremely happy. He basically just broke the clutch in for me.

greenbalt theres definitely more than one in the whole country. reread the thread if u didnt get something...

the dealership told me that they can get it from another state but they have to deal with out of state fees but in state it would be no cost to me. i know one will pop up soon enough, just waiting...

me and my brother cant believe it, idk if its like this in other states but the dealers we talked to said that when they do get one its gone within the next day or two. the last one they had a guy bought off the lot that already had an ss/tc but wanted one for his wife

There is one down here with built motor. He put it back to stock and is selling it cause he was was spending too much. He had the treadstone kit on it. I think it just has rims on it now.

Are you really that surprised? There aren't that many of them to begin with, and someone would have had to traded it in to another dealership for them to be able to find one. It's not like they're in production anymore. The best way to find one for sale is looking in the classifieds in this site.

I hignly doubt they would actually check the clutch. Only reason being.....you have to take the tranny appart like ur replacing the clutch. And I don't think u would get 2.9% on a used veh

It took me 3 months to fine my SS/SC in Florida and even then I had to drive 2 hours one way to get it. HOWEVER, I ended up only spending $9,500 on a car with 30k miles and it was exactly what I wanted. Be patient, you'll find one.

Your dealership isn't looking too hard for you. Tell them to go onto OVE and buy one for you. Right now there is a 09' Red SS with only 3900 miles with a $14,500 buy it now. Its located at Manheim Palm Beach.

OVE is a dealer only site, sort of dealers selling to other dealers. I just looked again and that listing ended this morning, apparently without selling. This is the dealership that was selling it:

Scozak Auto Systems LLC - scozak.com

Its not listed on their site, but they look like high end cars and might be looking to dump the balt. I would give them a call directly. Pictures of the car looked very nice.
