When, Where Cost, and What purpose, This thread is created to help organize and determine when and where the next NC meet is going to be held, entree fee and what we will be doing the whole time. Try to remember to be fair to people on both sides of the state and suggest something in Central NC.

My Views:
I have no care on date as long as it isnt the weekend of the 19th.
1. Fayetteville Drag Strip- Fayetteville- Any Sunday- 12-5/6pm- $10 entrance, $10 race, purpose would be for hanging out(potentially grilling out if we have enough interest) and racing
2. Rockingham Drag Strip- Rockingham- unsure of date- unsure of time- unsure of entree fee- Purpose would be the same as #1
3. Piedmont Drag Strip- Greensboro- unsure of date- unsure of time- $10 entrance,$5 race, Purpose same as #1
4. Hooters- Airport Blvd(Raleigh), Mcpherson Ch Rd(Fayetteville), 3122 Garden Rd, Burlington, NC 27215 (Exit 141)- any date- any time- cost varies- purpose to meet, bullshit, eat, cruise afterwards.

I also think we should have a regional meet at Tail of the Dragon. I was there for a national Crossfire meet and it was great. It was 3 days long and you can even get discount rates at Fontana Lodge depending on the size of your party, we had over 100 people for the Crossfire meet and got the rooms for 75 a night(split between 4 people it was about 60 for the weekend).

 

When is the Drgon meet? I'll be down as long as I'm not out of town. Do you have a link or anything?

We should all meet at a hoots to watch a fight sometime. I catch every one I can. We could bullshit outside and then go inside, drink some beer, and cheer for the guy that isn't loosing. The next one is on the 17th. Hell, we could even meet up at the Hoots in Burlington. I wouldn't mind a few guys shacking up at my place if they wanted. I live about a mile from there.

Well the next dragon meet I am going to is the last weekend in October, I was wanting to get a cobalt meet together there but I was invited to the Crossfire meet. Hell we could make it a Cobalt/Crossfire TOTD weekend, the one I went to was Crossfire/Porsche/Mr2.

I didnt know there was a Hooters in Burlington. Whats the street name and I will add it to my hooters list up there.

It's not too bad. I go over there about once a month to watch the fights. They have quite a few cruise ins, but it typically only consists of hot rods and newer mustangs. I was the only Balt there when I went.

 

Are their any meets around Wilmington, NC? That is close enough for me to make a few meets, or make it a every week kinda thing, in or around there. Also, when is HIN?

i am trying to get a meet/ hook up for the raliegh nashville wilson area for the sunday of the 14 at ther golden east mall parking lot around noon or if you got any other places to meet im up for it

 

im down for a 19th meet thats great

 

I am hoping to steer around the 19th-22nd because I will be in Myrtle Beach but whatever the masses want. This meet is for everyone. Got any ideas Kevin(or anyone else)?
Where is the golden east mall? I may be able to make it if it isnt too far from 40 or 95.

Come on guys throw some places out there. My friend Alan has Honda(over 40 cars, 70+ people) meets at his house and everyone throws money in and bbq's, would anyone have the land or want to do that? I could probably used my grandmother's house if I have enough interest, she has enough room to have about 30 cars on her land. Also my friend Brandon in Cedar Creek would have no problem with us using his land and he could probably store over 80 cars on his property.

 

I had a big meet up here about 2.5 months ago...

I am sure I can get a crowd... but most of them won't go past Raleigh!

But Rockingham would be a possibility!

 

Well I dont blame them, Raleigh, Fayetteville, and Rockingham are about the closest to the exact middle of NC we could get. If we dont go to a race track I want to get together a big highway cruise or something and video it. Anyone wanna go to south of the border?

but i do have 2 acers of land up near the nc/va border if y'all ever want to have a proper cookout and i know some one who can get a pig pit and everything with it .

 

Well I want everyone's input on it. Everyone throw out a weekend from this list, then we can narrow it down to a single day, then decide where and what we are doing:
June: 12-14, 19-21, 26-28
July: 3-5, 10-12, 17-19, 24-26, 31-
August: 2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-30
Damn, yeah I have no clue where that is.

 

August... is completely out of the question. Baby is due in August....


I do have August 21st off already so that gets my vote!

 

I figured august was a bit out but I dont want anyone to not have time to make arrangements.
