Hey was just wanting to know if anyone from the south bama/north florida area was going to the car show over there this weekend? Me and some friends from Mobile will be leaving out early tomorrow morning to go check it out!!! It's supposed to be a pretty big event.

Nice meeting you Vince. Hope you met up with Greg (Black SS/NA) and Chris (Silver LS). As I was leaving a modded blue Cobalt was coming in (A/M grille/hood/nice paint job) -- did you see/meet him? That is definitely the largest car show in the area but they need to coordinate/park the car classes better!

...and leave those poor SRT-4s alone

The blue cobalt with the paint job was nice...definatly invied it with my stock SS/NA Cobalt with exauhst and system lol I met greg also.

 

Well I have to say that I was disappointed as usual. They put my car in the J-body class and there was another guy I know that had a 2.4 SS who was put in the chevy car class. His car won first place and he had a HUGE dent in his passenger side fender!!! All because his car had aftermarket wheels and a system!!! It never fails, I always get fucked in these car shows. The J-body class winner was driving a Saturn SC-2!!!! Give me a break!!! I don't think I'm ever gonna enter my car in a show again. Now adays they go through that stupid check list to see if your car has this or that, and they don't look at the big picture at all!!! My car has alot of modifications done to it that almost noone else has ever done and is DENT FREE...

Also, the show could of been organized better...

I agree with you -- I don't think the judges could do a reasonable job with the large number of cars and how the cars were spread hodge-podge all over the place. I'll stick to the "local" car shows.....
