hey good seeing all those cobalts today. track and weather were great i ran a new best of 9.180 @ 78mph

had a great time today...we will have to go this again soon...how many ppl are going to freakshow next week in Kinston...its supposed to be the biggest car show on the east coast, last year 1700 cars were there and this year is supposed to be bigger!!

 

I really enjoyed meeting everyone, glad to see other LSJs for a change . Those LNFs were pretty sweet too.

my best trap was 79.35mph

worst run was 9.372 which was the run i ran the highest trap. i littlerly drove into the track and straight to the staging lane and ran that pass lol. wish some of yall would have ran more. would have been fun to have a cobalt shootout.

btw my only mods are sportlines, airbox mod and 235 tires

 

today was fun look forward to other meets

only ran twice.. intercooler pump was being a pain...

I am SO glad you got the race of me and the SRT-4! I talked to him after and he said he had "bolt ons and raised the boost some". I don't know what that means for a SRT-4, but I beat him! :LOL:

It was cool meeting everyone and I hope we get to do it again soon! Next time we need to get everyone out there to run!

 

lots of fun!!! slips are still in car, I ran a best of a 9.2 at 84mph i believe (with nitrous)

Best of the day clicked off a 2.11 60ft 8.95 @ 81.

 

even though i didnt drive there i still had a great time riding bitch. i would like to do this again for sure. no plans yet but i will look into it. maybe Rockingham so we can run the 1/4 mile. good to meet everyone...you will see me driving next time.

My first time at a track too and yea, I am definitely doing The Rock if thats the next one. I just need to work on my take offs and such, was not to confident in the clutch so I was being very easy on it.

 

looking at the rocks schedule all of there test and tunes start at like 7pm that would suck as i doubt i would go that late. maybe if we can get enough to commit they would put together something during the day? would be sweet if we could go run and there be nothing but cobalts there running lol. id would be willing to throw down a higher entry fee for a day time TnT. 30 balts x $30 = $900 wonder if thats worth it to them to open the track.

 

Just come to the Fayetteville track, TNT is noon-5

It appears thier TNT's have been moved from normal days and times. It used to be sundays noon-5 and if you got there when it opened you basically ran it like a circle track. I got 5 runs in 30 minutes last time I went.
