Hey all...

this has been discussed in another thread... but I'm gonna make one for it now.

The DSLSJA is going out to Rockingham dragway on sept. 22nd (this saturday) for test-n-tune runs on the 1/4 mi strip.

Admission is $20 for car and driver... gates open at 6.

dang, i wonder if anyone from up here is going...id love to caravan with some people...i wanna go! anyone bringing hptuners and a airtank (so i can refill the air in my tires) w/ them?

 

everyone needs to come out and join the fun. No worries about what they run or will run. Its all about getting together meeting people and having fun. Besides you never know who would be willing to switch cars or give you a ride down the 1/4. Everyone has to start somewhere and get used to it.


DMAN - not sure about hpt. We have 2 within the group but I am not sure if they are definitely coming or not. We'll see though. Also there is a gas station about 5 miles from the track with an air station. Thats what we did last time after we ran.

For anyone that wants to caravan - probably leaving Charlotte between 430-5. Post up if you want to caravan so that we don't miss anyone.

 

I've got an air compressor in the trunk... plugs into the cigarette lighter... perfect for filling tires at the strip.

burlington...it would honestly be better if i just came down 73 and just ride in that way...i might come with someone from asheboro if i can talk him out of hangin with his girl... so who knows...lol

If I know us it'll be back to Photo's place for the normal rounds of beer and hanging out.

you might as well leave from burlington... go to greensboro... and come down 220 straight into rockingham... will probably take you about 2 hours.

No hard core partying, etc.... As to what to do afterwards we will have to see, figure we will get back here @ 12 probably. Maybe we can hit a sonic or something?

Wish I was not working, needing to do something. Just found out an order for my balt is in Canada! and won't be here till flipping tuesday! But I do not get out of work till 6 and by that time driving to the Rock would be out of the question. Waffle house after 12am is like going to the bathroom at a concert when it just started raining, way too many people haha. Gas, go and represent for the L61! Show em how do a mid 15 second lol. I got on my car yesterday for the first time from 1st to 4th and god man, I need a turbo or something, so disappointing.

another good thing about my place, close to the highways and a waffle house 4 min's away baby! Has been the landing spot of many a night all ready. =)

guys i cant go. i did have sat off but they changed my damn schedule. its a bunch of bs. im going to pageland today since i have friday off. maybe we can get up some other time.
