I certainly understand your frustration and have no excuse other than the
main water line was frozen. It would have been tough running without water
in the water box or in the restrooms. Our pump house was submerged in rain
water from the showers earlier in the week and this water froze our main
line.
I have never cancelled an event due to a poor car count. I have been in this
business for 36 years and have never cut a purse nor canceled a race because
we may lose money.
Timing problems do occur and I am sorry you were here November when we
experienced one of the numerous gremlins that crop up with computers and
electronics.
I will gladly admit you and your crew at no admission if you will give us
another chance. We do plan to run this Saturday as the main was repaired
yesterday. If not, please pick any event in 2009 and I will gladly admit
you free.

When have we ever failed to prep the racetrack? I don’t think there is a dragstrip in the country who spends more on traction compound that us. Sorry, the main was frozen due to our pump house being soaked with rain. Our crew chased the problem all morning and couldn’t rectify the problem. I am sincerely sorry for your inconvenience, believe me, this time of year we are thankful for this weather we had on Saturday and hate we were unable to run. If you will return Saturday I will admit you and your crew at no charge. Let me know and I will leave your name at the gate.

I dunno man, this weekend is too early for me.... I usually need 2-3 weeks notice so I can request them off! This past weekend I just happen to get it off because I worked nights mon-friday!

I here we are thinking the 21st of feb for the rock but may have to make it the 7th or 14th, everyone is deciding over on the club site about which would be best for us. I do not care when it is though.

well the 14th is valatines day, the 7th is the wilmington meet, so the 31st is the obvious choice here for us.

 

Yeah, I'm not going on Valentines day especially this year. Oh yeah the willmington Dyno meet... I am gonna have to go and butt hurt some turbo cars aren't I!

 

Thing is our guy Russel who basically made it possible said they are not sure about their scheduling after the 14th, seems like many of the club guys and friends are saying the 7th now, doesn't matter to me really. I would do the 14th but for some reason alot of them think there is something special about that day lol.
