This event was held in Tampa but they moved it to Gainesville this year.
Seems to be a very big meet with a lot of vendors and such.

We should get a big group of cobalts together and go!!!

Wow I have not been to slanfest in many years. Can't believe they moved it to Gainesville. It was never a show for Sportcompacts, but might still go

 

You know any other guys who might want to come.... It would be a good chance to have a cobalt meet and it should be a good time none the less. There will be a lot of people and cash prizes for every class of vehicle so who knows, could win some money.

I have a few people who might come, but not cobalt's. I donlt have one either.

We should all meet up and grab some food and then cruze in together.

And if you are every interested, there are meets here in gainesville every thursday night at 10:30. I'm gonna check it out this week and see how it is.

 

haha, I'm sure with all that you will smoke me...I'm still working on breaking my new engine in too so I don't know what its capable of, with the original motor I had a best run of 13.997 up in gville, but I was never able to run it with mods, hopefully by then I can run. And as far as the thursday meets I would be down to go, but the girlfriend has to get up at 5:30am on fridays so I doubt she'll ever let that happen lol

 

I would love to break into the 13's my first time at the track... but wouldn't dare run it until I have the meth set up because its so hot here.

My girlfriend lives with me too so I know exactly what you mean. I get crap every time I mention my car but if you can get away let me know!!
