No, I pulled the CRX on motor. That run, I missed second gear nasty, I forget that when I launch the car from a dig I have to actually shift with force into second. I was even with him until that, then I caught back up and passed him by the end of 3rd. I still would have beat him in the 1/4 mile.

 

That's my boy Javier in the rex anyway, i've known that clown for years. He loves doing digs in little all-motor hondas, gotta give him props for that. It was a friendly run but my transmission was being a Yoan and acting very retarded on the 1-2 shift all night.

This transmission has always been like that, ever since they changed it. If I launch the car hard I have to slam the **** outta second gear or it will lock me out. The original trans never did it.

I'm thinking I may start looking for a spare trans, toss some upgraded syncros in there and put it in the car.

 

Good idea i heard the muranos syncros are really good for that trans

 

What murano has a manual trans?

 

Dont know man but my boy had an hr and he always wanted to rebuild his tranny with the murano disk theres a turbo DE that has them and the gears are lOnger i think you gotta order them frOm japan

 

There are gear kits out there, that's not the issue. The synchros are what sucks. And I don't need longer gearing, the car already has long gears with the 3.5 diff.
