I am looking to get a Stage 2 kit. I am probably going to buy it off CED and then have a dealer install it. The only dealership ive talked to about it is Bill Heard. Has anyone had any experience with this dealership or any other around Tampa area?

 

i have and i work there i would be the one to install it for you if you bring it to bill heard

What do you mean no warranty?? He works for a dealership. All my mods and I still have my warranty.

 

he's done a ton of em...He did his own, our buddy matt, mine, and at least 2 others. He can do them with his eyes closed

yeeaaah...but then again, you dont really have anything that would void said warranty, except MAYBE the smaller pulley.

 

so Corvette spirit installs them at the dealership or on the side? How is it covered by warranty unless he does it at the dealership?

 

IF THERE IS NO RO MADE UP FOR THE CAR THERE IS NO WARRTY ON THE STAGE2. THATS THE ONLY WAY ITS COVERED. ITS YOUR CAR YOU MAKE THE CHOICE. BUT I AM LETTING YOU KNOW THE RULES. I WILL INSTALL THEM ON THE SIDE BUT IT WILL NOT BE COVERED. LIKE TERRY SAID I HAVE INSTALLED ALOT OF THEM AND KNOW THIS CAR VERY WELL AND IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE PROFF COME TO LAKELAND DRAG STRIP THURS NIGHT AND YOU WILL SEE SOME OF MY WORK ON THE TRACK. no yeller i think you are misunderstanding where i am coming from....I bought the kit already off CrateEngineDepot....its the same kit...I was just wondering how much do you"ll charge for the install?

 

My Buddy Ecotecon18s Just Had His Done Here And He Was Charged 263. That Good Enough For You??

yeah i did...my first kit in my first cobalt i got off ebay...turned out to be stolen from a dealership in texas...some others here bought the same kit.

The kit I put in this car came from CED; best price on the web I've found, and I def. do my shopping around...

 

I'll back up his installs on stage2.

yep i just talked to Mike over the phone...i ordered my kit today and hopefully will have it late this week or early next and then im going to have mike install it.

 

And what about Old Town for you on Friday night? I was gonna drop by the dealership but I didn't have time. I also wanna see the rims and Grille you got for it.

I'll be getting with you shortly for those slotted and drilled rotors. (My stimulus check from the IRS came in)
