Ticketed for Tint Violation

So, I was in Hernando county today, and was pulled over. When I asked why, first the deputy tells me it's for my license tag frame (which is the one that came with my Injen CAI and is actually smaller than the one Ferman gave me). I happily responded I'd be happy to get the tools out of the trunk and fix it. Then, it became I had illegal tint on my windows. I told the officer I would like a measurement to be taken for the transparancy level, and I'm sure the place that did the installation would be happy to submit a letter that the tint conforms to FL laws. Finally, they come up with my front strip is below the AS1 line, and I get an $89 ticket.

Looking up the law:

316.2952.2

(2) A person shall not operate any motor vehicle on any public highway, road, or street with any sign, sunscreening material, product, or covering attached to, or located in or upon, the windshield, except the following:

(b) Sunscreening material along a strip at the top of the windshield, so long as such material is transparent and does not encroach upon the driver's direct forward viewing area as more particularly described and defined in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards No. 205 as the AS/1 portion of the windshield.
Anyone ever get this, and know if it's something I can go in and argue as being a suggested value versus a defined value?

There is a certain line that it cant be below, but if your tint shop is experienced and they didn't give you illegal tint as far as percentage than I doubt they would put it below the line....Cop was trying to **** block is my guess...

There is a tint law unfortunately....I just got ticketed for having 15%. Anything less than 27% on the front side windows is illegal. And anything less than 15% on the rear and back windows is as well.

He was just doing it since its his quota that is why, other then that if you were never pulled over for the **** don't even worry about the ticket should be thrown away.So there for the cop is a jack ass in the first place.
