You could put the car into "Low" gear which is labeled "L" on the gear shift display, however, I think you'd only be driving in first gear.

When you put the e-brake back down, the traction turns on again.

You have that kind of money? It's going to be expensive as hell. Why did you pay for an auto in the first place?

If you can't get any traction then why do you want to turn off traction control??

it should be voice command. sit in your car, start it. make sure all the doors are closed. then put down all your windows and say "traction controll off!" as loud as you can. hope that helps.

turnin it off dont help any man. when i turn mine off and spray it burns all the way through first but if i dont turn it off when i spray i run the risk of the motor boggin and blowin the motor from the n2o. you just need to get some better tires on it.

well man, I have an 08' TC.....but mine is as easy as pushing a button on the dash...that same button is also "launch control" and "stability control". I think you should have made the dealership do a dealer trade to get a manual. I made my dealership do the same. And they graveled at my feet.

I'm sure you can't turn it off though man. You have an automatic and they are not made for "racing". Your best bet is to trade it in for a 5 speed or just take advantage of your GAP warranty and hit a wall doing 80. Hopefully you got GAP.

So you want to turn off traction control? Really makes no sense. You get traction by making adjustments to tire pressutre and your right foot.

Real info.....I had a loose wire causing my Traction control off....The dealership fixed the problem, now, if you were to put a switch on this wire, theoretically it would be what your looking for. Now whether once you do it works like u hope it will, IDK, when mine would shut off, all I would notice was it would do a lil roll of the tires instead of a bark, still nothing to be impressed about tho.....

Resurrecting thread.....yes you want traction control off. Why you ask? Because it is not about keeping the wheels from spinning -- when a drive wheel spins ( and it doesn't have to be a lot) it sends this information to the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) which then sends a signal to the ECM to cut engine power by reducing the amount of torque to the drive wheels. Engine power is cut by retarding the spark and turning OFF fuel injectors. In really simple words....IT SUCKS! If you line up an auto 2.4L against an auto 2.2L (without TCS) and leave the 2.4L tranny in "I" or "D" the 2.2 will run away from you the stupid TCS will kill engine power enough to let the 2.2 get ahead of you and you have to play catch-up.

Lifting my e-brake does not turn off the TC either....only selecting "L" does.

RPO NW7 Traction Control System (TCS)....allowing Hondas to out-accelerate your GM Car just so you don't squeal your tires

I have no f'in clue what your talking about, LOL......My TCS was turning itself off because of a loose wire somewhere in the Driver Side wheel well, If you could actually cause a break in this wire...IE a switch, wouldnt that "Turn off" TCS?
