Ok...who's the crazy Cobalt racing me at the end of a tropical storm??? lol. Heading down Jefferson all the to the Coleman bridge at around 5:00 Friday afternoon. Didn't see the drive....cute passenger though.

worth mentioning- yesterday i headed out to my job(walmart) down jefferson. traffic kind of heavy( there was a truck that broke down near the oyster point and jefferson crossing-the cause of the traffic) . a nice looking red cobra mustang was eating up the road. the mustang looked nice btw. he zipping in-around- and out of traffic ( left me behind a few times :lol: ) now we both were head of the traffic from time to time ( yeah yeah i was speeding a little-besides i was late for work anyway;) ) i watched this guy fight traffic all the way down jefferson. he would see an opening-hit the gas- and take off- only to run in to more traffic. long story short. all the work he did to get a head of the traffic- i stll pulled up next to him at the jefferson/oyster point light. just funny to watch peolpe fighting traffic like that- i m guilt of it to SOMETIMES!:lol:

lol, thats funny. im that guy who zips through traffic, and when i get to a light i see the first person i passed roll up right next to me. it's just funner to drive a little more aggressively (just not dangerously!)

in a way i m glad i bought an LT instead of the SS s/c. i drive fast in myh LT no telling what i would be doing with the supercharger! just too temping:twothumbs

another topic: is anyone going to the airshow today at NAS?

hey guys, wanted to let yall locals know a buddy of mine is selling his nitrous kit. Probably about a 700 system and is selling it for 300. I believe its adjustable from 50-125.(Its a yellow bottle too Doc!) I'm thinking the only thing you would need to purchase is the window switch. He's been using it for quite a while so its proven to work properly. Anyone want some more info just let me know.

The Pinks episode is being shot this saturday at Virginia Motorsports Park. Normal races during the day, then Pinks start taping at 5. $10.00 to get in after 4pm, $17.00 before 4.

When do you guys hit the track? I'd drive up on a weekend to hit the track with you guys.

Just got back from the Pinks taping. It was pretty interesting. Not nearly as exciting as the Totso brothers episode, but it wasn't too bad. They'll probably air the second run they did cause one of the guys that works on the show brought a car he built and ran it for slips. Then he ended up getting boo'd cause he was racing a hometown guy. Then rich got pissed and threatened to shut down the show cause the people were boo'ing him. it was pretty funny actually.

everybody backed out because they said that imports were racing. was this try? which confusses my because my bro-n-law believed he know the guys that were racing

as far as the pinks taping goes, the first race was a dotsun vs. a falken. then the next one was a chevy S-10 (with a small block ford i must add) vs the guy from pinks in a buick.

Hmmmm.

Because I'm having a baby in May - and that car is a pain in the ass with a carseat, we tried my girlfriends... I'd just feel safer in a 4 door car... I'm thinking a Malibu. I dunno what'll happen, since I've only had the car since the end of June - but the dealership I work with is great, so they're doing their homework to get me the best option for my situation.........
