na...but I think i've seen him around...is he the one that has the decals along the side? I think its a black widow...
I'd be all up for going to the track but the hours right now aren't that great...and neither is the weather. Went last year and it rained us out, I WAS TICKED.

alright people i am looking to get a tune in about a month and sent a message to sean at solid tech and this was his response.
"We do use HPT for GM vehicles. Our tuning charge is 585.00 including dyno time, plus tax for NM residents. We have tuned many GM vehicles with HPT and use it on our shop camaro That makes 800+ HP on pump gas. We need about a week to get you scheduled in.
Just let us know when you are ready.
Thanks
Sean"
just wondering if anyone else looks to get tuned soon so maybe he can give us a discount or something

250 and ~100 for dyno... check out the el paso thread for more info. I belive we need 1 more car to get the tuner to do it and rage915 (hes planning the whole thing) is seeing if he can get a better dyno price assuming everyone or most use it. If not it would be 100 per car

Let me explain this tune for you, atleast how it went about on my GTO...
Solid installed their wideband 02 sensor on my car and street tuned it for many variations, that is to say, for idle, for mild driving, for partial throttle boost, for WOT boost, warm up cycles, tuned my tranny as far as line pressures, shift points, and torque management.
In fact my gas milage improved as a result of Solids tune, as the car went from a MAF to a Speed Density tune..
With their wideband still installed it was off to the dyno, and now we get their indications as well as the wideband, here Sean made the big power for my car, playing with timing while monitoring for KR and injector duty cycle, sitting in the car with his laptop for each and every dyno pull, tuning the car for the safest HP with safe AFR's and timing..
Solid Tech may not be the least expensive option, but Sean is agrueably one of the best tuners in the Western United States, he did wonders on my 637hp SRT which at that time, was the 1st to hit a 600+ number.
To tune in El Paso is certianly a option, however, Sean will tune that car to maximize your Hp/Tq and safety with Albuquerques high altitude..... Lower altitude tunes may not be your friend in Albuqerque... Solid will get every safe HP available from any given application.
A tune from Solid and you'll wind up with more power, better drivability, better gas milage, a custom tune for our high altitude and some dyno sheets to boot.

thats just it. i dont think its just a dyno tune its more of a specialized tune the the elev. out here. its just a bit too rich for my blood but once i get a cobra front mount, ported sc and larger tb i will probably be hitting him up to get every hp out of this car that i can
