$100 sound good? First person to come pick em up can have them.

Ballsout - It was kind of a one time thing, sorry man. You should call patrick at JP3, see what kind of deal he can get on stuff.

I was just talking with Patrick today and he said that the front springs are not interchangable between the SS, LS, RL, or other Ions. The rears will work, but the fronts have a different perch on them.

That is why he has a set at of H&R springs at his shop. They were ordered for an RL but they did not work. Now he is stuck with them.

You are incorrect sir check gravana's site they offer the same lowering springs for the car thats why it lists how much it will drop a ss and how much it will drop a 2.2 read it, and stop making incorrect posts.

my problem is people not knowing what they are talking about and making absurd incorrect posts. i appreciate the effort he put forth to try and contribute but he obviously doesn't know what he is talking about.
Read what it says in the link

No the world did not come to an end but we are trying to sell are springs and if someone reads that it won't work on their car do you think they will buy it from us? No they will not that is why I got so upset, and another reason is that this is only one of the many people on this site who have no idea what is going on. I joined this forum back when it first started and back then if you didn't know what you were talking about you asked questions not just throw some ridiculous statement at us.

I'm just relaying what I was told by a local parts guy that is stuck with a set of springs that wouldn't fit the application the manufacturer said they would.

Hopefully I'm wrong and someone can use them.

BTW: My sunburn finished peeling already so I no longer have an advantage.

he told me this too but I don't think its true

there is already someone running SS/SC springs on an LS...there is a guy running aftermarket RL springs on his SS/SC and several Ion guys who have ordered the same springs regardless of model.

the only difference thats been proven so far between Ions and Cobalts is the strut mounts...there has been no proven difference between different models of the same make.

Although I have heard of a select few ion sedan guys having problems dropping their car and possibly receiving the front springs for an ion qc, personally I just think they got the wrong part though because I never had a problem with my Sprints.
