Well guys hate to tell you this but another member told me that AFR dont really make a difference on these boosted cars. So you are not going to gain anymore power from me leaning your tunes out....
Will on mine because its flooding but when did this come out. This sounds wierd to me.
He just said this in another thread. The statement in no way makes sense. I will be leaning you both out to 11.5-11.8 depending on KR.I will know for sure what Bretts AFR is once he gets a damn WB!
Well I didnt really press the response too hard because I dont really know the facts but saying AFR doesnt effect it really at all is just plain wrong. That means Steves car, that was probably near 8.5 AFR, would only gain about 7-8 HP for him being that rich and us getting it to 11.5. Seems kinda wrong to me.
In the beginning Steves car felt like it hit a patch of thick mud when he went WOT. It feels so much better and we are still not done.

Hey guys I'll be heading up to Phoenix tonight to drop of some parts. I can bring anything else if someone wahts to get something from me. I basically stripped the car today of all the aftermarket things on it.

Drove my car today. Car still idles funny. I fixed it a little but I need to play with some timing and fueling. Clutch felt amazing.
My coolant is leaking from the heat exchange/intercooler piping so my IATs hate me. Gotta fix that but it drove ok..

Steve and Brett, am I using your light to make the retro's? I know Brett asked 1st, so he's up 1st. I'm just trying to see what parts are gonna go where.
On a plus note, i took the 4dr tonight up there for it's 1st out of town trip since being back and it did great with no probs. Already showing good signs it's gonna be a good car again.

lol I have the gun metal ones. I just need one. I dont think the polished will look as good.. I will think about it though.
I am going to leave work a little early and fix the water leak and tune the injectors pulse a little more to try to correct the idle. Then I will try timing. Next I will try a stock TB. I just dont get how the TB affects the idle that much. especially when I tuned the MAF. ugh.
