Arizona BS Thread
Lol Go to home depot and find some plastic tubing to put on it.
SO my BS for the day:
Went over to Chris's work to see if he could unlock my tune and he was able to so I'm hoping by sometime next week I'll be running a super dope SCcobaltSS tune and then I can be like LNF's PLEASE!! Except Nick... lol And Drew... No but it will probably be some time before it all gets squared away and tuned up right. If I know my car (which I do) I'm sure there will be issues galore...
Then I headed on over to Kopperhead Kustoms. (Where I had my engine and tranny built) Had Jason put on the fender liner that came off after the first time the tranny was built. Walking in there I could tell he wasn't in a good mood to see me. Eventually it was brought up that he saw everything I've posted in here about his business. He wasn't very happy about it. It's irrelevant what was said at this point. I still don't feel as though I should have had to pay him the extra $800 coming in that morning with a 12 hour notice to come up with the money. He had the car for almost a month this time around and not once did he say when I dropped it off that this would cost me anything to fix. I would not have put the LSD in had I known there was gonna be no warranty on the entire transmission and not just the LSD. It was to MY understanding that putting the LSD in would have a warranty with the entire transmission. I don't feel that I should have to pay for someone else's mess up. How was he supposed to know the hard parts were going to go bad? I don't know, That's why I went to him in the first place, to build the transmission to hold 350 wheel torque reliably. It didn't do that, still have yet to see if it will now once I get on a tune that will actually make that much WTRQ. Jason, you need to communicate better man it was terribly hard to get a hold of you. I know it's your cell phone and you have a very busy life outside of work with 4 kids, one being a new born, but you always gotta keep the customer in mind bud. All in all I know Jason is a stand up guy and always tries to do the right thing. I also know that his shop was far cheaper than anywhere else especially after looking at ZZP's price to build the 4t45e or anyone local to build the engine. It was significantly less. He knows wtf he is doing and he's not gonna try to rip you off. His prices are very fair on all the work that he does. He actually just got a new shop so he won't be working out of home anymore; it's off of 16th Street and Broadway. I'll admit I was pretty heated that night that I found out I had to pay an extra $800 for the work done and I'll admit I probably shouldn't have said things on here that I said. I've given him $4590 (including that $800) at this point for all the work he has done to my car. I only make $10 an hour. That's a lot of money for me... He probably had my car for close to 3 months in all. Granted there were a lot of complications, but at the same time it's advertised that you won't feel put on the back burner which I did feel that way. Either way it was a shitty situation for the both of us that what happened happened. And we both lost some in the end. I would recommend Jason at Kopperhead Kustoms to do work on your car. He's very helpful through the process. However I will tell you to ask for receipts and work order forms and to put stuff down in writing because it is a business and things need to be communicated clearly between the customer and the seller. I'm sorry for what I posted... At the same time I'm not happy about it, I will use Jason in the future if there is anything advanced that I need done to my car. I'm hoping at this point there won’t be anything else... This is my honest experience and is how I feel.
If you want to get a hold of him for anything car related let me know, I have his information.

Is he holding a gun to your head now or something and forcing you to say nice things now???
To be honest, you sketched me out from ever using his shop from your previous posts. Granted, I'm not aiming to throw down that much HP anyways, so it's not like I would ever have a reason to go see him or any shop.
And, I'd rather you be brutally honest about stuff that goes on, rather than just be all "meh" about it.
The economy is in a slump, a shop has to be competitive in a multifaceted way. You not only have to be competitive with your pricing, but you have to also provide quality work, in a timely manner, and maintain customer relations (keeping in contact). From what I understand; he was solid with his pricing, but the quality of work wasn't up to snuff, he took his sweet time, and he lacked in his communication with you.. You might be okay with that, but I sure as hell wouldn't be. That's the reasons a lot of shops go out of business; most have talented workers, but they completely lack the structure to provide all elements that is required to be successful in this economy.
Sorry, just my 2 cents.

It's unlocked Drew, Thanks!
My Girlfriend and Mother just read what I posted and this^^. They totally agree with you... My girlfriend just said: "I would have ripped him a new **** hole. You were way to easy on him!" As my Mother was reading it she said "You WOULD recommend him!?"
I'm being reminded of all the unprofessional-isms still from the two. And I'm beginning to think I'm too kind. Having a degree in Business and in Organizational Management has really helped me to put this towards a learning experience for me. For every 10 customers you have that have a negative experience you will have 10 customers that will talk about it. For every 10 customers that you have that have a good experience 1 customer will talk about it. This is the business world we live in.
And I do agree with you as well, and no he is not holding a gun to my head lol.
Apparently there was a hairline crack in my clutch drum that would let trans fluid pass it and would make the transmission slip. In the process it burned up 2 of the brand new clutches. So you gotta think it's gonna be all that fluid in there too and I guess a lot of labor which he did says he cut in half for me.

I do completely agree that people are quick to throw negative comments out there, but rarely give positive comments. But don't let that notion lead to you giving praise where criticism is due.

oh go to Home Depot in the plumbing section they have clear tubing. You can buy it by the foot.Thats what I used. When you put the tubing on the spring, spray wd-40(or your choice of spray lubricant) in the tube and on the spring. It will make it much easier to slide on
