All depends if you sleeve it or not and how much time a day you work on it.

With how much I work(lol)I could have a engine put back together in a day if I hauled ass on it(with engine out of car already)but this is something you would wanna take your time on.With Jerry's build,I think he would just do what Ty did,and do rods and pistons which wouldn't take too long at all.If I ever do internals,All I would do is pistons, rods, head gasket, and head studs and call it a day.

This is cut and paste from the GM Build Book. My thoughts are that the LSJ would be greater then or equal to these ratings.

Bates Engineering offers an up-level stock-replacement valve spring (part number ESGV0001) that fits in the stock cylinder head with no modifications. This spring uses production locks and retainers. The springs will increase the production valve train limiting speed to over 7500RPM. The stock camshafts are good up to 400 hp with these valve springs and a power adder.

The only reason I would get cams is to get rid of valve overlap for boost.Being no one makes cams for my gen motor,im stuck with what I have.

The only way I will beable to come close to 400hp is if I can find away to come up with the 3500 for a turbo swap,But that will only be a dream

I'm really interested in an LE5 block now after reading about it on the j body forums. From what I've read the swap can be done for well under $1000 and no need to get any machine work done.
