Hayabusa is my top choice. I'm also looking at cbr1000rr's and gsxr1000's at the moment. My wife is taking the motorcycle safety course next week and we are in the process of getting her a motorcycle, and after that is when I'll get mine. My dad (who lives in wisconsin) says I can borrow his for the winter and wait to buy my own, which I may end up doing depending on money. He's got a brand new Yamaha Stratoliner, which is a cruising bike, but it has a 1.8L engine in it. I've ridden it before and it is amazingly well balanced for such a big bike, and it's torquey as all hell.

 

Yes my buddy in payson is installing it for me.

Lol, it does. But my dad has his bike with his 1.8L and then his truck with his 6.2L, so I guess he's still allright, lol.
