Arizona Meets ?

Hey guys I get home from Vegas to AZ the night of the 16th, so If you guys want to try and have a meet in Tucson, Phoenix, Flagstaff, or somewhere that would be cool. I start school again on like July 28th or something, and I should be free on the weekends. Maybe meet in the morning run around and stuff and maybe go to a track. Im not 18, so if we wanted to race, it would need to be tucson for parental release form signage lol. But yea just get back to me I guess.

I see a lot of mustangs @ sonic sometimes too, I think they are a car club as well, but maybe we can meet @ some place like that I guess. Because if people see all those Cobalts @ (i.e. Sonic) Then other cobalt drivers coming by might stop by and see whats up.?

Right on, another person in Tucson.

If you don't mind me asking what HS do you go to? Because my senior year, I'm going to join my school's drag racing team.

You mean at SIR? Its not based on schools, its based on the track. I've been on the team firebird high school team since my sophmore year.

Yes I'm talking about SIR, but my school DOES have a drag racing team. Which was being lead by a math teacher, but he retired. So now its being lead by out Electronics teacher. I always wanted to join, but now since I have my license its time to have fun senior year.

But yea if we can get some mean Cobalts together for a meet in AZ that would be cool. Just to hang out and talk and stuff. Lol so what if we are youngins, we are learning early and thats a good thing right?

On the streets, Kate's SS, and my SS don't lose. Our stage 3's haul some real ass on the streets. The track was breaking my drivetrain, but on the streets it's a differrent story. MY buddy has a WRX, and our cars pull a carlength on him each first and second gear, and towards the top of 3rd it's like th cobalt starts running away from the WRX. I know a 5.0L woul dlose, because we are running equal times at firebird as the new 300hp GT's, and 5.0Ls only have 215hp.

There is always Mill Avenue. It's a slow moving street, and there will be lots of heads to turn.

That's hard to say. I raced one a few days after I got my car, against a guy who had just gotten his a few days earlier, and I was ripping him a new one, but then again we both were new to the car, so inexperience could have played a factor too.
