For you Chandler guys - anyone got a few minutes sometime this week for me to listen to your car stereo? I think my amp may have gone out, but I want to listen back to back with another car to verify. Currently I have to turn my bass all the way up to hear anything from the sub, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't always like that. I know the stock sub isn't exactly a thumper, but right now it feels practically nonexistent.

 

bretts is like that too tom in my 06 ss/sc it beats way harder than his and my bass was half way up. i wanted to know why that was too.?????

 

That would make sense...I have to max the bass and go about half volume just to hear the sub. I know the sub is working - I can feel it if I go to the trunk while the music is up - but the volume just isn't there. A while back I was listening to the stereo at a very quiet level (like 2 or 3 clicks of the dial, literally. Car was off and I was waiting for the woman to get off work), and I hear a loud pop through all the speakers, and it shut off. Turned back on and it seemed to be fine at first, but over time I've been noticing that the bass just isn't there when I want it to be.

But I definitely want to test it ahead of time just to be sure. I want some evidence when I take it in.

MTWT, 545 to 7 as well. 710-1000 lab on Tuesdays. I have math and physics classes, so I park in the south lot close to Dobson. (usually as close to Dobson as I can get so I can sneak out the south exit as well )

Saw a White Cobalt yesterday in between Elliot and Warner on Lindsay. It has Chrome SS/SC rims, but its white, has the SS Spoiler and front grill and rear lower spoiler. I am so confused... I thought the SS/SC didn't come in white... Maybe they just put Chrome SS/SC rims on... ???

I also saw a Orange SS between Baseline and Gaud on Lindsay.
