Saw a red ss with a high rise this morning at 7am driving down 7th st. He had a custom plate but I couldn't read it And I couldn't tell if it was sc or tc.

Raced a SS/TC last night on Buckeye and 99th. He was riding my ass just before while going south on 99th so I thought lets see what kind of car this is, turned onto buckeye going west and since I made the turn first I had to wait for him so I stayed in second until he was close enough and was at about 3000 - 3500 rpm so I know he could hear my exhaust as he exited his turn and got next to me. I stayed in the right lane and he moved into the left I watched carefully and saw him go for it so I did as well but he obviously got the jump even though he was at my door when he went and put me at his door quickly ... apparently it didn't matter cus at the end of second we were pretty much even though he was still ahead by a nose into third now and we stayed like that for a moment and I started advancing on him but traffic ahead in his lane so I let off to see if he would talk. He must have been embarrassed or something cus he never looked in my direction and never accelerated even remotely fast after that, his girl seemed in high spirits while I drove next to him for a bit until I followed him for a couple streets. He had a bar-tending something sticker on the tail and side windows can't remember the full name. I was thinking that I should have gotten spanked especially considering the low speed we started at though it wasn't at a stop, driver mod I guess but we were in a roll and I didn't hear him miss a shift. This was at about 7:20. It's the second time I had raced an SS/TC and the last time wasn't much different though it went longer and we actually started from a stop so I know off the line I am at a disadvantage on the low end.

same **** another day. ran into a rough spot with cash the last couple of years so nothing new to report and been putting lots of cash into camera stuff. Stage 2, intake, exhaust still not tuned aside from the last good flash from gm.

 

Hey, there's nothing wrong with that. Still fun to drive and it should last damn near forever on that set up, if the dude that ran well over 200k before his car was totaled is any indication. I'm pretty much in the same boat.

 

True. I got rear ended about 2 months ago during bumper to bumper traffic at about 3 in the afternoon ... pulled over screaming at the ****** that hit me thinking god it's going to look bad the speed was about 30-40 ... anyway ... no damage and you know how you always check everything anyway well I did like I was there for about an hour on my back looking to see if anything was damaged ... nothing, nothing at all not even traded paint ... there is a small impression that you can see in indirect light something similar to someone putting all their weight on a soft spot when leaning against the car but literally no damage anywhere went to work the next day and no problems since.
