Arizona sightings thread
So there are at least 4 that you know of in the valley. I wonder why the hell mine is delayed when I ordered it in April. Do you know what dealers they came from?
Of course, custom orders may be taking longer, add to the fact that a lot of early orders were affected by that side-trip to fix something or other...don't recall the details. I do know that according to the little manu-sticker on mine that it was finished in May.
I was just browsing cars.com on a Friday night at work, saw one at Bill Heard, went in Saturday to look at it, drove it home that afternoon. This was on June 14.

Well, I have the Hahn PPC, and my car is spiking nicely at 25psi, just for comparison, I ran and beat a new 2009 Challenger SRT8 at firebird twice last friday August 15th. With just The tune 317 hp and 355 lbs\tq. This car even put heat on a 2007 C6\M6 >>> Me: 13.55 @ 106 vs C6\M6 vette: 13.60 @107, DA that night was 4502' 99* 29.72 BP 44% humidity, Very bad for turbo charged applications and not good for normally aspirated cars too. Yes I have the time slips and firebird will be posting this on the dragtimes website, then you select tracks, select state then scroll down to AZ >> (Firebird International Raceway, Phx). Since we have only 91 octane, I'll bet your tunes (Steve) are going to have some knock under full throttle! my PPC is tuned for 93-96 octane< 1.5 gal 100 race gas mixed with 5.2 gal 91 = 93.5 to 94 octane
No traction so 40% in first gear, 75% throttle starting second then going to full throttle. Tires spin no matter what in second at the shift too. The best traction I had was with 26psi in the tires, coming down fron 36psi in increments of 2-3 psi . I talked to a couple of others in Cali and they said to try 23-24 psi in the tires. We'll see. I've sport-line Eibachs 1" lower frt and 1.3" in R on the way, not to low so I can use DR's later on. Have to do axles at some point and go to Slotted Brembos
After research and consulting with others on the SS\TC, the stock CAI is perfectly fine to about 340+ hp, same for the exhaust from the down pipe back 2.5" it flows to good and will do just fine to 350 hp...... Upgrading the down pipe to 3' or so will bring more hp to the party. The intercooler could get changed out but that's another $800, but you'll pick up 32-35+ chp and 30lb\tq

If anyone else is going to order your 2009 SS\TC. omitt the Cali Emissions, Cal emissions will drop your hp by 7-8. There's only 1 dlr that sold four SS\TC and the Dlr did not order cali emissions: Sands Chevrolet. They still have a Black SS\TC with the nice two-tone interior. Call them!!! No Cali Emissions
Three friends in fleet and Finance did all the home work for me.
Standard fed emissions currently meet cali clean air standards to 2012.
^^^ Thx Rage. I was suprised! so was everyone else, even the guy I beat in his new SRT8 Challenger came over to chat for awhile. The look on his face was PRICELESS LoL!!
I'm bird bound friday night then crusing and Pavs as usual on Sat.

Awesome times, though! I don't plan on running this until weather cools down more, but I'll probably hit the track here and there just to spectate.

Man, the dyno guy was at the DMV all afternoon so I didn't get my mustang dyno'd. AND I won't even have my mustang dyno'd on Saturday because I will be driving a Solstice all day.
And for those of you who don't know (which is ALL of you) it's a pretty sick solstice.
2.4L w/
CAI
Headers
Catless midpipes
custom dual exhaust
NX 75-shot wet
1 of a kind Shelby cobra front end and custom carbon fiber rear fascia. Carbon fiber dash. Aftermarket wheels.
Touchscreen car pc in place of stereo running wi-fi internet, in car diagnostics, windows xp, centerfuze operating system on top of windows, back-up camera built into rear view mirror, upgraded sony sound system, dvd player, USB hookup in cigarette plugs.
And still slower than the LNFs LOL!

No knock w\PPC unless I use straight Az 91 octane, then I get some light knock. I Dyno'd at 246\261 Stock 17psi boost,.... then a K&N drop-in>>>> 249\265 18psi,.....then the PPC>>>> 294\335-- 25-26 psi. Crank\brake hp of around 317,..... tq near the 357 range, I like that tq number!!
I can pull the PPC tune and try a tune with you and see what happens? It's worth a try, and if I don't like then I can always go back to the PPC tune or stock.

And what dyno were you on. 335fwtq is like 398 crank torque.
Let me scan your car while driving with the PPC to verify that it is safe to run.
