Finally saw another turbo-balt here...and an exact clone of my car to boot! They were heading east on Rio Salado by Mill at about 1:45 this afternoon.

 

Red LT on kyrene and 202 at 12:05 pm has silver racing stripes...

 

saw a red one on ray and McQueen around 3:40ish

 

thats cool yea ima try and go to the race track i think its called speed world or something like that lol i couldnt find the pavilion lol but if any body is down to go to pavs or the race track give me a call 815 603 7766 havent changed it since i got here lol

 

i saw a blue cobalt ss by my college today in tucson..

I saw a Black SS/SC at B of A on main and signal butte

 

A silver SS/NA on chrome 19 in rims on Baseline and 48th 10 PM
Red SS/NA on the 10. 2 dudes were in the car... I tried to get them to go but they wouldnt... 8:30 PM

 

Are you driving an 06 Yellow Supercharged? If so, that was me on Calle Santa Cruz. I just left school for the day. Oh and FYI I'm not an SS

Yeah, its a base LS with nothing powered. But I'm going on three years with it so I invested alot in it so far. I have a simple goal for the car, but it will take time and money, which I don't have lol.

Our group is Kemikal M Balance aka KMB. We used to have a huge AZ group, but that failed after few blew their motors and traded the cars in. In Tucson, there are two groups that have Cobalts to my knowledge. Its KMB and KAOSS. Either way, you will have a good time with good people. I just told my friend who is our "boss" of the group (I call him boss fyi). He is interested in meeting you if you'd like, I could show you his house and the group always meets there.

 

haha sounds good man i would like to meet some people for sure im new here. the scene back home in chicago was fun as hell haha and i like the color of your car pretty bad ass. i got lucky i just bought mine used and it has a bunch of stuff done to it already haha cause im in the same position as you.. no time and no money haha but for sure we should meet up sometime. do you go to pima?

Hey what happen to the racing scene here when I came here 5 yrs ago it was crazy now its more like 10 sec race and then disapear lol is there any spots were ppl meet up and race man chicago had some bad ass places to race but the streets with pot holes weren't forgiving lol

 

If your talkin street racin that **** is wack..watch yourself cause AZ haz a billion photo radars up..

 

Yea I've been watching my self lol I think im a bit over peranoid I see a flash I stare at my speedometor lol but the street racing scene aint wack I street raced once in a while but I always went to checked ppls car lol or see rare japanese cars there lol

 

street racing is pure stupidity.you put yourself and others in danger, harming them or even killing them.Let me ask you this!What happens when your doin ~80mph and a rear tire blows out?you go sideways either hitting your "opponent" or on to oncoming traffic..sorry to much of a risk to say,"hey i beat a ion redlin on the street".No thanks ill stay on the track.just my $.02

Yea I had my front tire blow out doing 120 while racing someone now that is scary lol but when I street race its always in an abanden street were there is no oncoming traffic lol and who ever races they know the risk same as the track lol but watever I wanted to race out in naperville but never saw any so went to cicero or chicago lol

 

I was a sight today, cutting a yellow light turn, not using the accelerator, nor the brake just steering wheel, I started sliding to the left, then to the right, after that spun out, busted a pos weld on the rear "axle", f'd lower front control arm. I hate my balt.

 

What how'd that happen lol when I my tire blew out it went straight to the left but I manage to control it lol almost last minute didn't hit no one but man was that scary the steering wheel just suddenly jerked hard to the left but didn't spin out I tried spinning out in this car in an empty parking lot and its pretty hard you have to be going like 80 or 90 and slam the brakes and turn or something lol

 

45 degree turn, trying to stay in the middle lane, I wasn't on the accelerator or the brakes, back tires were needing to be replaced... I suppose. Just steered, was going not more then 45, started sliding didn't want to go onto the dividing island, turned to the right overcorrected, I know from prior experience not to use the brakes and just spun the otherway. I suppose the roads were still damp, from prior rains even tho it didn't look like it. I've almost lost it before unintentionally around a-round-bout for fun, but easily... saved it, but then again that wasn't as fast. My back end for somereason is really loose I guess old hard tires.... and overcorrecting my backend slided out all to quick, lesson learned hard, but I won't forget....thats for sure.

 

last time i was out people usually meet in one of three places...43rd(?) & bell, 99th & mc dowell or Westgate (cardinals statdium)

i haven't been in like a year though so i don't know
