well taking it out and putting it back in was not the hardest part....a lot to it but fairly easy.( i should mention i had my buddy doing most of the harder **** because he worked at his dads mechanic shop for many years) but getting this thing bled was hell. ended up just taking it to the stealership and they charged me 144 to just bleed the ****. but it still shifts hard as hell so no track for me until we figure out whats going on with it

Hey, who makes your new clutch? I don't recall your ever saying. Is it an Excedy single type? Or maybe a double vane clutch? I want to change also-only I need to find one that is evenly streetfriendly !
The bleeding does sound a bit frustrating...I'd be pulling my hair out by then.

So, did any of you ABQ balts get together? Weather's been pretty shitty the past week. I work nights so getting to the track is simply a bitch since it's only open from like 10am-4pm. If ya'll havnt gotten together we should actually get a meet set up.

Hell no. I sleep from 6:30am to 2pm. Track is currently open from 10am to 4pm. No way am I going to lose sleep to race in the cold. Colder the ground the more your tires are gonna spin, mate. can't wait till may when it's open till midnight. Then i'll be going probably once a month. Whenever I go I'll let you guys know like a week or two in advance so maybe we can meet up etc.

Yeah, it really did end up being quite gorgeous outside today -_- Ended up toting my girlfriend around all day. But oh well. She just got back from texass and her LT is traaaaaaashed. Like... I'm going to need a power washer and a dump truck to get the poor thing clean.
What kind of balt are you running and what times did you have?

Autox event next weekend
the 21st in Farmington that Saturday and Sunday will kick off the first SCCA event for the season here. It is also a National SCCA race so will be well attended. if you want to see what it's all about-and see a Cobalt in the hunt, you could drive out there.
locally you have the PCA and the RSW, or Porsche Club/America and Racing Southwest sites to Google.
So long,
