Thank you sir. Hitting this number and knowing the tune needs work has me hopeful for 300 here in tucson. I may just go back to brothers racing n re-dyno there.

Not bad at all. Gotta learn what makes power and what does not right.

You need some E-47 and a better tune.

Normally I would not say this but in this case richening it from 12.5 ish to 11.5-11.6 should make more power. With gasoline, richening the mixture normally leads to power loss (unless it was way too lean to begin with) but alcohol likes it rich due to its oxygen rich hydroxyl group (-OH) which provides extra oxygen for use in combustion. I love fuels that have their own oxygen source.

That is what I was trying for at the dyno. Give a comparison between a 12.5 AFR and 11.5 AFR, but it didnt happen that way when I tried richening.

That sniffer seemed to read really lean though because it was sniffing tailpipe not upstream.

Yah it did seem a little lean. 12.2 on WB gauge and he showed 12.6-12.7...

It would be cool if you could get him there as well. The car has it in it, just need adjustments just like mine.

This i did not know and glad for the helpful tip. I'm very happy to know that the car can get this high and run so well. I can't wait to open up the head

Couple more that weren't on the list but dyno'd.

Alex with the Yellow SS/SC put down 214/1xx ? Don't remember his torque exactly (anybody?).
KING with the SRT put down 465/422 with that 35r setup.

I bet if you and Steve dynoed on the same dynos as the other E-85 M62 LSJs that made 295-305 whp you would see close to the same numbers. Differences sometimes come down to the dyno.

Everyone that is ahead of our numbers on Ralli's dyno thread are midwest or east coast cars. That has a lot to do with it as well!

Yeah that is basically what I ment. The cars in the NE tend to have the highest dyno numbers and fastest trap speeds for the most part due to the mine shaft like DA's they have up there. Florida can be bad as far as DAs go even though we are at sealevel in summer we have 95-100* temps and 70-100% humidity levels. Heck it ws 84* here yesterday and 60% humidity LOL.
