AZ HPTunner Group Buy and Tunning

I posted another tread about who was interested in going in on the HPTunner software. Well i called Vivid Racing today about the tuning. They said if we get the HPTuners They can tune each car in about an hour or less. An hours labor is $75 plus the tunning labor is $150 = $225 ea. But if we come with 4 or more cars then the price will drop to $65 an hr and the tunning guy said depending on how many cars we bring the better the price will be on the tunning labor. So who all is still interested?

Sorry about that, I cleard my pm box. But yes we have to buy the software. I already have a place that can get it for us. They won't tell me an exact price on it just that its over 500, because he said its really hard for him to get it and he wants to make sure we are serious about it before he waste's his time. This is why im seeing who wants to pitch in on one. The more people the cheeper it will be. Then once we get the HPTunner Then I will scedule a day for all of our cars to get dynoed tunned at vivid.

the only problem with this is that if we all dont have all 06's or all 05's we have to buy more credits.
i was thinking we should try to find a place that already has the knowledge on hp tuners because i dont wont them to blow my car up because they never used the program before.

Ok the only thing is I'm not going to do this tuning until I get stage 2 and my 2.8" pulley. I've saved up several hundred dollars towards stage 2 and I'm getting close, the pulley is only $100 so no big deal, I don't see a reason in getting my car tuned then getting a reflash the undoes all the previous tuning, it would be a waste of time and money for me to do this before stage 2 and the pulley.

Not too many shops around here has used the software before. I ask the tunning guy simmilar questions and concerns, But he said he has been tunning F/I cars for over 10yrs now and ensured me that he can do it. He said he's used similure software before and that Basically tunning our car is the same as any other F/I car.

So If you are really interested in doing this and not going to back out post your name. We need at least 3-4 at least. Once we have enough people I will get the exact price for the HPTunner.
1. SRT-Killer

for the price right now id say 6 to 10 people because of the fact that we would have to buy the freakin software

1. SRT-Killer
2. dstinsman56 unless price is over $350 total

That is true. Its probly around 600 after tax so with 6-7 prople it will be around 100 a person for the software then probley under 200 do get tunned if not cheeper, depending on how many people we bring.

I honestly don't know why you would pay a tuner to 'tune' your cars when Intense has already done it for you (buy a pcm from them).

Hell, if you're so inclined, let blown 4-banger buy stage 2 then read his vcm and copy it and the rest of the guys in Arizona could have the same flash (providing everyone went with 42lb injectors). Then, your costs would be significantly less.

I already have the Intence PCM. But i also have a CAI and now my Air to Fuel is in the danger levels, because the PCM tune is not for a CAI as well as the Stage 2.

Not to mention both PCM's are only a base tune. Every car is different.

i would love to do that other than the fact that one of the guys from intense says that they do not recommend running a cia with there kits. i have all the parts for stage 5 but the pcm and now that they say this after the fact is garbage. they need to step up and make a tune available that runs a cia as well

But if you have a CAI or any other mods with it you can through off the A/F because of how sensitive our cars are. They will run into the same problem I am having with the Intense PCM. So yes Pretty much I wasted my money on the PCM.
