By the way anyone that owns a Cobalt should take the 11th off and go. I am requesting the day off and bulldog should be doin it as well. Need to start a roll call for this one as it could turn into a big event, hopefully.

found some VERY important information. the race is NOT on the 11th ... it is on the 13th. there are aparently 3 different races auto x, rally x, and i think the other was an exhibition race. Notice below the times of the first race which is the one I believe we would want to see which is the 200 mile 2 hour grand am gt and st race. tickets are 25 bucks advance and 35 at the gate. I already called PIR and I now have an extension to a lady that can get us a group discount if we have at least 20 people that are going. The more people that go the bigger the discount. I will call again monday to speak with the group purchasing manager regarding the discounted ticket fees BUT we need to know an exact amount of people going. This includes not only yourself but those of the people that you would like to bring. Remember its about the amount of people that go which will determine how big our discount will be. That being said ANYONE is welcome to go.

well not enough people for a discount however, it should still be a good showing. we need to now discuss a meeting place and cruise time. We want to get to the event at the very least an hour to an hour and a half before the start to get situated. This means we need to group up about an hour even before that to allow time for all you late people and to compensate for any traffic that may be present.

That being said we would need to meet at about 10:30am which is good cus of all you sleep in people (myself included)

 

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! I'm going to be stuck at work Saturday as well. Can't make this one, but I've got the weekend after off for sure, so I'm definitely down for the cruise to Canyon Lake, or where ever it's decided. Get some pictures!
