Sweet! Believe it or not, I saw this on Bill Heard's website Friday night, so I went there this morning to take a look at it, and a mere 5 hours later, drove off in it! Not how I planned on spending my day, but it's worth it. I bought my last car at Bill Heard as well, when Freeway Chevy wouldn't even give me the time of day. I worked on some numbers with Chapman in April about one that was in the mail, but we couldn't come to terms. So Bill Heard is two for two on me now! Too bad their service department sucks *****.

What are you getting on yours? This one came with nothing extra except the LSD and sunroof.

 

Hey congrats, I've had mine for a whole week now. I purchased my black SS/TC from Lamb Chevrolet in Prescott.

Why do you have the coilpack cover off? Or these not have one?

 

Yeah chapman is also 2 for 2 on mine lol. but my dad has bought like 4 trucks from there so they know id well and give us good deals mine is also just the sunroof and the LSD.

 

Liking it alot, sometimes too much. No, I never had a chance to own an SC or Cobalt. I've drivin them every chance I'd get tho.

Nope, that's just how it looks. Engine bay is definitely less attractive than the ss/sc, but it's a small price to pay.

 

sweet so how much did they rip you? or did u get a good deal...those things go for around 23-25K right?

 

No, I got a decent deal. My payment went up only 15 bucks a month.

 

So does your TC make that tickin noise also?? I read somewhere in these forums thats normal. Thought I would ask.

Yeah, there's defintiely some noise, but it's not too loud. I could hear the fuel injectors ticking at idle on the ss/sc, so I'm not too surprised to hear them on a DI engine at all.

 

So did you trade your ss/sc in?
