Hey PhxSS

What happend to you? I thought you were going to be at the Pavilions?

I showed up a bit later, but asked some of the other SRT-4 owners that were there if they'd seen any SS's. They only saw one and it was blue (and there was some debate as to whether it was an SS or an LS).

Anyway, I plan on being out at the Imports vs Domestics this coming Saturday Night:

Why dontchya come out and help beat up on the Honduh's?

Ahhh, damn dude, I'm sorry ...I have wife and three kids, so sometimes it's hard to go through with plans. We ended up fighting the night before, and had a nice "make up" day on saturday. We ended up drinking and playing poker lol. I won't have a chance to go again until maybe the 30th. anniversary and kid's b-day's are for the next two weekends. i swear we will meet up sometime, though . Maybe the 30th?

P.S. Can i get in with your car club to get $5 off if i go to speedworld sometime?

??? I don't think car clubs get a discount at Speedworld... ???

But yea, I'm sure we'll eventually catch up with one another. Should've caught up with me today, I lost power to my boost solenoid (bad wire) and was only boosting 10psi... I "only" make about 250whp on 10psi.

And someone else on here that lives in north phx has a black SS. i forgot his name though I told him about you, and a bunch of us meeting up sometime.

Ah, I see. It's only for the "After 9" special event and only applies to the Car Show. No group discounts for racing.

Why PM when there's only 3 people that read the SW forum

Actually, I was hoping the owner of the Blue Cobalt would chime in (probably not on the board tho).

I thought it was known that yellow is the fast.
I'm still searching for a SS/SC but I'm staying away from black...looks nice when it is clean, but changes once you leave the garage.
If you guys meet up post it, I wouldn't mine meeting a few Cobalts and drilling them with questions.

Later....
Herb

Actually there was a scientific study done, in which cars were aerodynamically tested in a wind tunnel. Black provided the cleanest airflow.

and if you believe that....

Check the classifieds, I'm trying to dump this bridge I own in Western Az...

Herb....are you having a hard time finding one in town right now. Cuz there are many dealers that have them. Problem is, they only have like 1 or 2 o the lot. So you have a lot of driving to do. Also, Sands chevy has 2 two right now, silver and red. Both have sunroof, Onstar, and side air bags.

Actually I found two right after I posted that, but they are a drive away. I have some finance stuff that needs to clear to make everything easier. I'm hopeing it will only be 2 weeks to get this stuff done.
Hopefully the rumors of the employee discount will be true and it will last until summer and they still have some SS/SC's on the lots, other wise I'll be ordering one.

One thing I do not want is OnStar and I have found 2 without it, one with XM and a sun roof and the other with only a sun roof.

Just not something I will ever use and the antenna is a eye sore to me.
The main thing is the antenna, just doesn't look good where it is at. IMO

I know there are alot of good reasons to having OnStar, but this will be my project car.

The real reason you shouldn't put OnStar on a cool car:

The On-Star operator may punch in the number wrong and toast your car instead of some looser that bought an AzTek....
