Ha, I just posted in your Speedworld thread. I would like to, but I really hate racing my car a lot. I normally only race every few months and I raced last night. Had I known that you were going, I would had skipped racing last night. From what I hear, Speedworld is much better than Firebird.

Plus it's a long ass drive from Mesa.

 

I live in Avondale so its only like 15-20 minutes max. Thats why i don't go to firebird.

 

Just go tonight and skipp racing your car for a few extra months, than it will all even out.lol

If your talking to me....Ive never been to the track before, Im going tonight. When i said i have my launches down perfect, i was talking on the street.

 

when you launch, do you drop the clutch or roll out of it? If you drop it at the track you'll get wheel hop til you think your brains gonna fall out!

 

I guess ill just have to keep trying till i get it perfect. Im going to experiment with a few different launches.

I'll have to give it a try and see what happens.

 

You might have some trouble that way, because you have the stage 3 clutch. It might grab too hard and make spin or hop in your case.

 

I don't have it in my car yet....I have to send it back to CM cause of that whole fitting issue with it and im waiting for my flywheel to come in too.

 

Oh so with stock clutch you should be fine.

Im not trying to prove anything....Ive just never raced another ss/sc before.

 

Wouldn't you wanna race one that somewhat equal to yours? Like eric or steve?

 

I don't know who eric or steve is but sure...

 

Eric is oni mirage the guy with stage 2 and steve is psykostevo and he has intense stage 3 - the pulley

 

sounds like they would both be a good race to watch. Maybe we can all meet up and record a few runs some day.

 

Yeah, I'm gonna run my car next friday. Last time I ran it, it was just the intake and the flowmaster that probably robbed a few hp, plus I only had 1400 miles on my car. Now I have the intake, a REAL exhaust, ingalls, and I'll have the B&M shifter on monday. Plus my car has 3300 miles so the motors loosened up a little more. I'm hoping for something in the range of 14.7 - 14.5.

 

That works, hopefully you can get those times...why don't you ditch tucson and go to speedworld. Im going to be out there till around 10 or so cause im going out to dinner.

 

Cause I'm going out to tucson to watch the race, but my dad gave me the camera and told me to film for the TV show as well, so I'm getting paid.
