I vote for about 8 at that Starbucks I was suggesting before. I put my kids to bed at 730, and it's easier to get someone to watch them while they sleep than during the day- I can do the day also though if that's what we decide.

So here's the official vote- Next Sunday, 8 PM, Starbucks in the parking lot of Walmart and Home Depot on the bypass just before Ellison. Yay or Nay?

How far south and what kinda get together. Got any twisties down there? Anybody else you know want to do a meet. I have no problem putting some miles as long as it is fun

 

we will see if i can make it in my car sunday. i had to take it to the dealership yesterday because the f*cking computer was freaking out again. this started happening a while back, my power steering would go out and the speedo would drop to 0. this would the go back to normal then a few seconds later would f*ck up again. took it in a few months ago on a friday but they told me to come back monday and by then it was fine. since then it has done it a few more times, finally it happened and i was able to get it to the dealer with the check engine light still on. well the have had it since 7am yesterday and have no idea whats wrong with it. so i have a silverado as a rental until i get it back. hopefully they will have it done by sat. so i can meet you guys in the cobalt if not i will meet you guys in the rental.

 

we have twisties and when i saw southern new mexico i mean next to texas and mexico. and the twisties dont constitute a road trip, i wouldnt want you to come and be dissappointed. ill try to rally the troops in el paso texas

 

hey guys I saw this thread a LONG time ago but never posted because well I don't live in nm anymore (haven't since I was 3 months old) ... although ... I have nearly ALL my family spread out through the entire state mostly in bayard hurley and silver city but also have family in deming and I think even LC ... now this may sound treacherous to some but how about you guys plan a trip through the black range??? at least I think thats the correct name ... HELLA lot of twisties there just um don't get hurt or anything cus I don't wanna hear that someone got hurt because of my recommendation
