dvs, If you're lacking a tool, let me know. I may have it. I got 1200$ free in snapon tools when I graduated school and obviously ive kept adding over the course of 4 years even though I don't really want to work on cars as a profession any more...

Yes, littleMT, you live close by??

haha, llike I said, I got most my tools from school. I went to UTI (Automotive Technical Institute.) When you work on cars for a living or work on them for friends you tend to obtain more and more and more... Between my dad and I we have close to 15k worth of tools sitting in our garage. Granted mine are for cars, his are for working on houses etc...

What more info would you like, Yakko? We're gonna meet at the drag strip. It opens at 6pm and closes at 11pm. A few peeps from my family will be there as we'll be kinda celebrating my 25th bday, even though it's on the 5th. It's 10$ to spectate and 15$ to make as many passes as you'd like. If you need directions, let me know and I can post those up. Anything else?

I guess I should rethink on the miata, we can do a weekend project, and tear the beast all apart and build it, since you have so many tools, lol

no helmet required, unless you running 10 or under I think, but if your a passenger, then you're required to wear one regardless

actually they make you wear a helmet if you are running if your running a 13.99 or faster. sometimes they make you wear you wear it and sometimes they let you slide but i would take one just in case. if you dont have one they will lend one to you at the tech in area

oh yeah also wear pants or they will not let you race i found that out the hard way last time.

Nah. I can still drive it. It didn't bend the rim (thank God for forged rims ). I just hate having my rim all scratched up. Stock rims are right at $600 bucks to replace.

Also have to wear shirts with sleeves. found that out the hard way, remember, Nal? lol! no sandals. Yes, Regardless of the time your car can run any passenger has to wear a helmet. We'll be bringing a few helmets with us as a few of the family will probably want to run with me, my uncle, or my aunt.

Nal, I can't weld but my dad can. Problem is, is that his welder took a dump a few months ago. So unless you gots a welder we ***** outta luck.

Thanks, rebeless
