so its the INTAKE manifold that i'm gonna buy which does not equal header, right? and the INTAKE manifold goes into the engine block, correct? just wanna get this right before i spend money on unneeded things....

Air goes through your intake, through your throttle body, into your intake manifold, into the engine block, where all the magic happens, then exits the block to go through your exaust manifold/headers, then out the exaust piping.

i believe it's a T3or T4, but it's nice....and the guy that's gonna help me put it on is gonna work with adapting my existing headers to the kit.....doesn't come with fuel injectors, but it has BOV, wastegate, i think the boost controller comes with it too, plus all the piping and stuff.

but is a bigger intercooler better? or a smaller one? and the turbo is an oil-cooled one. not oil/water cooled....or something like that...don't quite have the wordage down, but you get what i'm saying hopefully....only gonna be boosting small numbers, but i'll be in the game

I agree. These days ZZP makes some of the best **** on the market for our cars. They may be a little more some times, but sooooooo worth it.

in the end i will be getting a zzp, but for now, i just want a little to work with....this turbo, with it being so cheap, is just my starter kit....trust me i plan on upgrading lol.....i wanna be up there with raider and the other sedan guy, but with money being tight, i can't do the zzp right now.....but rusty gave me this site for a great zzp turbo kit and that's what i'm striving for........so this turbo is just a good-enough-for-now type deal

^^this is the one rusty referred for me, and that's the one i plan on getting ultimately....gonna use the other one as a build up to this, cuz if i can go stage 3 that would be fantastic. plus i already put the money down for itj since it was so cheap....but don't worry, i'm not gonna be rollin like a buster forever lol

ok not to give u bad news but us 2.2 guys will never be close to the LNF guys, we need so much things just to keep up with them, especially now since they can run e85, just for us to get 300whp we would need forged pistons, rods, arp head studs, port n polish the head plus a nice turbo kit. that could cost up to almost 2500k to 3500k without including installing plus since ur manual u need a new n better clutch n flywheel n maybe upgrade your tranny so it wont blow on u

 

If you want some cheap power get a nitrous set up for now till you can get a nice turbo set up. Too many people waste more money then they should in the end. Don't make that mistake.

 

found a clutch i want....would i have to buy a flywheel seperate of this though?

sorry I was at work, don't get much time to **** off anymore, since I'm in charge of the day shift...., and I guess my copy paste job didn't quite work, lol, the site is spokeo.com, is a data mining site, I got the email at work from the security people, I guess someone actually payed the fee to investigate their own name and found out that most of the info offered was actually current and accurate **** at least for him, so he reported the site to the higher ups and they passed it down, I figured I should do the same and share it with you guys, the site is pretty easy, I looked up myself and I was there with my current address and **** but didn't pay the fee to find out how accurate the info was, I just had my name taken off the directory following them steps...
