LS1=GOD recently went 12.09 at the strip, and Chantilly pulled and was starting to runaway very quickly when she let off...

did the front brakes yesterday. A lot more easy than I thought. Took me half the time to do both as for just on side of the back lol

 

Anybody going to the track next weekend? I'm going for the first time in the cobalt. Finally put a new set of tires that seem to be pretty sticky. No more breaking traction in 2nd even with e85. Hoping for some decent times. When I had my 06 ss/sc it was pretty disappointing,

 

Goodyear Eagle gt's 235/40/18's on a 8 and a half inch wide rim. Decent amount more rubber contact. My 225's were pretty stretched on that rim.

 

I might go finally fixed my exhaust leak now I gotta littile better tune hopefully get a good tune this week so i could and see what i do

Was out on monte last night and seen a couple of balts. Laser blue you have one clean car sir! While I was there i ran a blue str4 with temp tags. Ive never heard an srt sound like that. It was like he had those turbo whistlers you put in your exhuast to give it that fake turbo sound. Anyways he was very suprised to see my car stay right with his. When I asked him what all he had done to it he said it was mostly stock. I called bullshit because it sounded big turbo but he insisted it was mostly stock. Anyone else run this guy or know what he has done to his car?

 

Thanks man. I like yours as well esspecally the silver ones. I think that srt has a boost leak and I heard that it would be a good race for me but he left early. I raced STIffy from tsc and pulled me pretty good he was surprise that I was supercharged.

 

He wouldn't race me into third gear. He said he usually pulls people in second and doesn't have to go any further than that. I told him my car stretches its legs in third but he didn't want none. Did you race that blue wrx with temp tags that car was seriously lacking.

 

Ya you ran Jake that screaching teridactyl sounding sound is because he's running too much boost on a stock Turbo. Honestly I'm surprised you didn't kill him with your mods? That car don't have a whole lot done to it.

 

He got the jump on me in second but I caught him going into third and then he shut it down. I would've put the hurtin on him in third. It was a very quick 40 roll.
