I voted for the 8:30 since i normally dont even go to sleep till 3 am.

The time is fine for me. But I still have a problem with the Texaco meeting spot. This is going to cause a good amount of people to have to backtrack away from there homes just to get to the meeting spot. Like myself, that is going to cost me an extra 15 miles just to go down south and then have to head back north, Jay is in the same boat. However, the origional meeting spot I had offered that is outside of Ft. Hills will cause no one to go out of their way because it is DIRECTLY on the route to Payson.

I would still like to meet outside of Ft. Hills, but if everyone else thinks that Texaco in Mesa is a better spot for some reason, then I suppose that will be the spot.

 

oh man am i gonna have to fork over more money ... that would mean 2.50 for exhonda and 1.25 for bulldog ... 3.75 FACK

ok now im in a pinch who can pitch in a 1.75? i can cover the 2 bucks left over

About the metting spots.. Maybe we can just meet up at Texaco, then Meet at Ft. Hills.. to get the rest of you.. but.. where exactally is the gas station in Ft. Hills?

looks like its gonna be 8:30 when we leave from the meeting spots to head north. Remember everyone 8:30 is when we leave from the meeting spot not get there. We may be meeting up with others at FT. hills so we don't want to hold anyone up. Also this may be an early notice but anyone that has a pair of two way radios please raise your hand as these will be used for traffic updates while driving ... so basically the stereo wont be used on this drive

Good, even if you only have one radio, bring it. It's not like it don't work without the matching radio

well it's official ... the poll is closed and the votes are in ... the date will be the 26th and the time that we leave from the meeting spot will be 8:30 (repeat) the time we "'Leave'" from the meeting spot is 8:30 so get there early enough or on time so we don't start late.

where are we meeting? Well so far it appears that we will be meeting at mckellips and country club ... at least most will ... there is a spot which bull dog mentioned right outside ft hills which would be a good place for those in the east valley to meet up at without doubling back unless the trip to the texaco doesn't bother anyone

dude you better go and bring your camera too ... I might buy another one with a better lens and better optical capabilities but as far as I know you have the best cam of any of us

 

An exterior camera mount would be awesome to stick a lower qaulity camera on for a run like this, no?

thats true but the vid cam I have was 500 bucks. I dunno if I wanna go get another one ... maybe I will get the in car mount cus my gf said she might not go
