OniMirage: Do you have an external xD card reader that you could bring or perhaps the USB cord for your camera? I want to download the pics from you, but I don't have an xD slot on my laptop. If not, don't worry about it.

 

yeah I have a multi reader that you can use ... I will have to find the software for it though but it shouldn't be a difficult task to find. you better make sure that laptop is in the upright and locked position dont want nuthin bad happening to it

 

ok guys almost time ... this will serve as a final reminder we are '"LEAVING"' from the meating spot at 8:30 that means most people will have already been at the meet spot for about 30 minutes or more. Since this is planned as an all day event it will likely run into a 5 hour trip and we will be unable to wait for late arrivals as this will result in the rest of the group to lose valuble drive and camera time. Remember there will be lots of video and camera footage oppurtunities so we want everyone to get the best results from our meet.

Nevermind. I just bought one. I saw it and it wasn't that expensive. Figured I was gonna need it again eventually. And I have a very safe place for my laptop. It fits perfectly snug behind the passanger seat with the seat far enough back, while it's in it's paded case.

Well i made it home going twenty five the whole way it took three hours to get home. In case any of you didnt know i got a check engine light and reduced power on the way up the mountain. I stopped at autozone so i could get the codes read and all it was, was the tps not hooked up. I came loose on the last hard shift i made.

At least you got to DRIVE your car home though. My bimmer buddy had to get his z3 towed, now that sucks.

Only two cars went down and one ticket...not a bad day I'd say.

99.7 mph, was the clocked speed, but the cop gave him 90mph.

EDIT: In a 55mph!

 

 

It was OniMirage and he was going 99.97 MPH. The cop wrote the ticket for 90MPH. It sucked because it was a laser, and right when he got over the crest of this hill around a bend the cop popped him. He didn't even put up a fight he just pulled off. It was sad for all of us.

As such, we have decided to start a fund to pay for his ticket or traffic school. I say every member that went puts in like $10-20. It's not much for us, but it would help him millions. He took it like a man and made sure we ALL didn't get tickets...Props to him.

 

im down for donating a couple bills just dont know how i can get it to him? hopefully he can get it droped down to civil and go to traffic school!

 

did you have to drive all the way back to phoenix like that? i didnt even know you were missing until like 45 min. later. next time we go we need to be able to get ahold of eachother like get matching walkie talkies or sumtin

 

 

Yeah, that whole walky talky thing sucked, cause nobody had the same frequencies..

 

i think if we all get the same brand they should all work the unidens could here but not transmit and the ge's did the same thing ... i think motorola's would be best

 

or if all else fails make sure we all have eachothers cell #'s?
