Anytime a bunch of car enthusiasts meet for anything, it's car related. Even at a BBQ or house party, the conversation is about cars. What I'd like to do is invite import guys as well as us cobalt guys to a house party; get drunk, and watch the **** talking commence.

 

Whos driving me home when I get too plastered to make it back ?

 

welcome to the site and I like where this is going but I feel that maybe I should throw in a monkey wrench into the idea pit ... Hooters...! That's right a Hooters Meet.

We would of course need money which of course you would have spent preparing and bringing stuff to a house party anyway. Why Hooters? well it's a social sports restaurant, which serves drinks and has hot ... wings.

It also has lined parking which we could use to show off the cars in all their glory. In our meets so far we have surprised the crap out of people while driving in a huge line and parking in a huge line. Such a meet and greet should follow in the same form plus this would keep everyone together to avoid small grouping so everyone stays in conversation so no one person is left out.

then come to one of the damn meets man ... the only time I have seen you was at the pavs. When we all meet up again you better go and I will make one for you no prob ... I suppose I could borrow an image but it just wouldn't be personal since it wouldn't be your car.

 

mine's red, so I'd be fine ..Anywho, yea I really do wanna go to a meet, but I'm not gonna lie; the ball n' chain has had me on a leash when it comes to car meets. If i go, i have to put up with bitching and bad vibes the rest of the weekend

 

I'm down for hooters! they do have some great......wings....lol

 

Not so keen on the Hooters (don't like the food or the environment), but the park idea sounded cool. Maybe some sports involved, two-hand touch, b-ball, volleyball, and can't forget the frisbee.

For the house party idea, I'll drive you home Jay. I never really liked the taste of alcohol or the light headedness.

 

well ether way both ideas are the shyt so y dont we do both plus i have a friend who has a 350z and another who has a base cobalt they mite wanna come and shyt talk with us to but its up to u guys so lets get on the ball i plan these things

I say we start to gather a consensus or a vote type deal and see what the results are so that the majority of the people are happy.

I know there will always be someone who doesn't get what they completely want, but I think in the end, after all the fun that will be had, it will turn out into a fun event.

So let the ideas keep flowing, but you guys are right.. Let's get something at least somewhat "outlined" and see what goes from there.

 

I agree on a party I really don't want to just stand around in a parking lot like some sort of highschool kid. If we party at a house we can drink I'll pitch in for a keg, who's with me????????

Hooters sucks, $25 for 10 little ass wings and old men all over the place hitting on the waitresses...what a GREAT time!

 

I say BBQ in the park. We would have plenty of room to park, and also play around. We wouldn't have to be confined to a resturant, and parking at parks seems to be a little easier.

 

Well, we can plan a date for a BBQ at the park on union hills/19th ave

 

thats what im thinking too, and plus the BBq is the easiest way i think..

is 19th ave and union hills fair enough for everyone if we did the BBq?
