Spray + FMIC?

So I've seen people with things spray painted on their FMIC and was wondering if there was a certain way to do this. For example, is there a certain type of spray paint i should use? A certain amount so i don't fill the holes up? Some useful information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm probably going to just use like 3 light coats of black radiator paint... Hopefully that works.

If anyone else was wondering, Bill Hahn said that he prefers to use flat black paint that is used for outside lawn furniture, spray from an angle to prevent from spraying a lot of the paint in the holes of the IC. Also i would recommend using a brush to pick up excess paint.
