I should be able to make both.

My Clutch Master Cylinder should be in today, so hopefully late tonight I'll be back on the road.

Friday, Sep 23rd I was out at Firebird breaking in my new slicks and ended up smoking my clutch pretty bad. It was a Centerforce rated for 400~450 ft/lbs... which I was exceeding (at the crankshaft). So I ordered a twin disk Clutchmasters clutch rated for 900ft/lbs.

During the installation of the clutch, following the service manual's directions, I pumped the slave cylinder (hydraulic clutch) and somehow the rod in the master cylinder got pushed out of position. I didn't realize this and went to step on the clutch and ended up bending the rod in the master cylinder. I ordered a replacement master cylinder on Saturday and it should be here this afternoon.

Did you know that on Oct 14th 1947 Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier for the first time in the X1.
