Rey and Josh are the two formers from KMB with Cobalts. I didn't find KMB to be made up of mostly Cobalts, unless you are thinking of the earlier days before the name was established and other cars joined.

You are absolutely correct. I would just steer clear of all of it. I always warn people of the problems they will gain from the Speedway life, should they involve themselves, and possibly commit to clubs.

absolutely greg everyone is great, decent and alot of fun to hang out with everyone is there for the same reason, to just talk cars and have fun, no one cares about anything personal which is what I want in a group. We are getting bigger almost every week and It's great to be around people that enjoy the same thing without getting personal.

I was referring to the older days before they became KMB. I thought that the group had most of the cobalts when they became KMB as well from what i saw on saturdays I could be wrong in that case my apologies.

I stepped down because I thought I was going to be moving but I have changed my mind.

also as i stated before the past is the past you can't fix it and you can't change it so just move on and forget it ever happened. as you said everyone is guilty of something, everyone's made mistakes, you learn from it and get over it.

Robert, I have no idea what you are referring to as "I think its funny that your parents pay for your car", I don't recall every giving you a hard time that your parents made your car payment for awhile, whatsoever. Secondly, why do you care so much that my dad makes the cobalt payment? The car is in my dads name bro, not mine. I am just grateful that my dad can do cool things for me like that. This ain't a pissing contest, never was. You can ask anyone, I never boast or brag about anything I have. I pay for everything else on that car besides the car payment. My dad got me that car for my good grades in high school and my continuing good grades through college, while still busting my ass working 1-2 jobs.

Also I didn't know that you and I had a rivalry? From what I knew you and I were pretty decent friends, if something changed please let me know. And as far as my "almighty 2.4", its really not as "almighty" as you think. It has an intake and an axle back...

Why are there so many adults on here getting so jacked out of shape over some piddy squabbly topic? People have differences, should you give them crap about it? No, we are all different and have different preferences, whether it be the people they hang out with or the cars they drive.

I have no hard feelings towards anyone on this forum at all. I think the last time I hung out with Jordan we were all at a car wash and went to Dennys afterwards, and that was really good times. I hope there is no hard feelings bro! How is Melissa* and your kids doing?

Well, I'm glad someone said something. I was unaware that nobody knew about the pulley. I could have sworn that everyone knew I had the PB 2.79" pulley on my car. I'm just as oblivious to what was happening under my nose.

If you must know, that pulley was installed when I first got stage 2. I never put that steel turd of a 3.06" pulley on! That was a waist IMO to have that in the first place. Even if, the 3" exhaust was not helping me powerwise, just hurting it. But I have a goal, and thats where I wanna be. I don't have competition with anyone because it makes for very poor losers. Reason why I have cut down on my racing.

Of course that was kind of a waist, I could have just done what I have now and have been better off and saved money twards some new mods.

I too am greatful for my mom putting the car in her name and I too am busting my ass to pay for my car. Correct me if I am wrong, but when we met at Fruddruckers, remember I told you had a "secret weapon" for you and you stated sarcastically; "oh what could your almighty 2.2 have that can beat me?" It also didn't help that Gator too believed that I relied on my parents money for my car. I won't lie to you I assumed you relied on your dad's military pay for your car. It also must be nice having not to worry about a car payment. If I didn't have a car payment, my car would be COMPLETE by now. And I would have extra money to invest in a project car for the weekends just like you. But let you one thing. When you pay for your own stuff it builds character. I love the fact that I am only relying on my parents to put me through school and to have a roof over my head until I am financially able to move out. In conclusion, I will still have a rivalry with your car until I can beat it. It is my goal to get both my horsepower numbers I want and also to beat your car at the track. Then only after those two are accomplished my investments will be complete and I can truly enjoy my car.

Yea dude. Things have been pretty rough around here too, my step moms spine/back got messed up again and she had to undergo back surgery again for the 3rd time . I finally quit my job at Starbucks and got a new job, my manager had her head so far up her ass she passed out. Hows your Ion doing for you dude?

Do us all a favor. Get off your high horse about getting ex-KMB members to join you. It seems to me that it is your way of getting "under the groups' skin." If I remember what you posted. You hated your car. So why are you so gung-ho on getting cobalts to join your group? I thought the car was a POS? I believe owning a car is such as the theory of an eye for an eye. You treat your car good, it will be good to you. Its unfortinuate that your car was "lemmoned" and you got a car that is apparently built better. Congradulations for that accomplishment.

This is a free country. People are able to do whatever they want in limits of the law. This is also true with people and who they visit and are friends with. I believe you are intrested in getting a large group ie quantity over the persons' personality or character ie quality.

I will part with this; KMB is stronger than ever. It is like a tight nit family and friends that are they for each other. So, let me ask you, can you say the same for chaos? I don't think so. I trust everyone in the group and I have respect and a very good friendship with all of them.

Actually, the quality of the people in our weekend group is quite nice, more social, more people, much less of this "Lets go find so and so and **** with them heh heh." The quality, and quantity is much better. But you wouldn't know that would you? You go off with broadly ignorant statements like above. I am actually the same age as you. And I too am in college just like you. I am not making the rivalry based upon who pays the car. I based it solely upon a competetive spirit at the track and how you beat me. Thats what motivated me to beat your car. Also I have alot in mind and I have a rough speculation for HP for my car. I will not disclose them over the forum, only my friends and the group knows my goal and details for the car. But, I just get pissed because I wish I was in your shoes. If someone paid for my car that would free me to put money into my car. But, I do with what cards I am delt and I am happy because it teaches me to be responsible with your money. Thats why I stated it gives you character.

I don't hate you Josh I just want to beat your car. Thats the only rivalry I have with you. After that I could care less about who pays what. I just add in detail if I were in your shoes the car would be done.

As far as if your car beats me, then I gave it my best and its finished, simple as that.

Well, you obviously do not know the back story to it good sir. I was tired along with my friend and we got smoked when we went to south mountain. I left early from the gas station with Rey and Jen. I thought we were going to take it easy after that whole fiasco. I was wrong and Rey and Jen both took off from me and that is why I lost respect for Jen because I TRUSTED they would go easy and not dart off as we were still in Phoenix.

Congraulations on your group being social and such. Lets see how much that lasts and who stays.

Yeah we are stronger than ever. Meeting up hang out at a house. Doing cook outs. Helping eachother with different tasks. Such as car maintence, computer issues, etc. Not everything is about driving up and down a street like your group and seeing how many people you can acquire.

This ties in with my saying; "stupidy is contagious."

I am sure everyone could have done things differently in KMB and our new group that we have assembled, so that we could all hang out, but unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Do I wish things could be different? Yes, yes I do.

What, did you think our little group is just tossed together? You'd be wrong my friend. Most of the people in our group are actually very very good friends. About half the people in the group are best friends of some of the members, a small "family" if you will.

If everyone could get past their differences and "man-up" and dispute their differences, maybe things would change for the better, but will that happen? Probably not. People have differences, and this is the world we live in.
