The other t-shirt thread was locked for breaking rules, it is only a matter of time until threads that break rules get locked. By the way, I never claimed to be a MOD so what does that have anything to do with it?

Since I'm a member here it is my business and it has gotten this far because of rules being broken. So tell me how the fact that this thread is breaking rules is not everything? When I believe in something strongly I'll fight it to my death. You being in the military I thought would understand how useful and crucial facts can be. Not taking facts in account could be detrimental to your life.

Technically, he is not a supporting vendor because these are shirts for an event. if someone offered stickers for an event. he is not considered a supporting vendor.

I have dicounts on Nitto tires and many people come to me. But it still doesnt mean im a vendor. Im simply a 3rd party in this matter. as well as CJ.

Not trying to insult you, I just would of figured you out of anyone here would respect that rules apply for everyone. As far as leaving, it is not happening. This is a public forum, I can post in this thread all day long as long as I keep it civil just like I have been doing. I won't swear, I won't name call, and I will just use truth and fact in the form of words to reveal the rules and substance of this thread.

I'm not sure if your mixed up on threads or what exactly your uneducated upon however a thread got locked because I had a feeler just to see who would be interested in buying a ticket to try and win a free cobalt. I never collected money.

I see what you are saying about the mod and its up to him. Another thread just got locked because of the same thing that is going on here. A none vendor is trying to sell an item. It is breaking the rules here. As far as a third party or giving discounts, as long as things are done through PMs and privately it can be done. It can not be done over a public thread. Do you understand the difference?

i do respect the rules, which is why earlier today, before you started a ruckus, i PM'd the OP to ask that he removes all prices and numbers from the thread. I have no problem with souvenirs, which is what these t-shirts are, not a product, or anything like that. I think certian things should be allowed in regional sections. I just have a problem with people entering into threads they don't really have a reason to be in. Not that you aren't allowed, by all means no-one will ever fault you for looking at any thread on this site, but you have to step back and admit to yourself that you really made yourself look like "that guy" in this thread. I have seen you around for a while, and like you, but come-on man, there is a line, and i think that you know you crossed it. There wasn't a need to do that.

 

Nice post, that one will be hard for me to argue with. Look, I think you should be able to make shirts for meets. I think you should be able to make threads about products for cobalts and where to get them cheap. I'm just mainly sour about rules only applying to some people. Personally I came up with an awesome idea to raffle off my car. Winner gets a free SS/SC with only 9k miles on it. Any extra money from tickets would of gone to a charity of cobaltss.net choice. My thread should fall into the same thing your talking about. As of now though, the rules do not permit anything like this, even if your not making a profit. After stepping back, I can see how it could be looked at as "that guy". You know as well as I do it just is total BS if I can't do something like this and others can. Its also BS for a certain person to lock a thread because they favor certain members and disfavor others. As far as being around for a long time, look at my join date.

 

You guys gotta understand. R&C isn't trying to get this thread locked per sey. And he isn't saying you shouldn't be allowed to sell T's per sey. He is making a point making a point to get other members to realize that indifference is not the answer; to realize that there are some faults in the rules of the site that need to be changed because if you were to be honest his thread is/was in no more violation of site rules than this one. It's gotta stop somewhere, and honestly I can see where he's coming from. If no one is going to stand with him then he's gonna take the whole ship down with him until someone realizes that they're on the same boat.

I agree fully with u steve. U r not a MOD, stay out of other peopl,es business, we r not flaming, u we r not trollong u ,so stay out and let the MODs take care of it. If they have a problem they will lock the thread and that'll be the end of it. If that is the case than I fully support him. But he needs to be constructive not destructive on the issue. Read my earlier posts. I told him to start a thread to petition to get that rule changed or modified and his reasoning why. I would be more than happy to support that petition and to seee it though with him for the long run. Because quite frankly I agree the rules r messed up, and need to be modified in this sitiuation. This should be a sight influenced greatly by it's members thats wat they claim it is well than someone make a voice and maybe we can get them to listen. But this is not how Rally approached this thread at all. He did it all in the wrong way. Rally if u want the rules fixed and to apply to everyone I fully agree with u and support you. Make a thread state ur case and start a petition. I will be all over that
