5 spots for free dyno day, SoCal!!!!

So heres the the low down. As my shops Grand Opening we're going to be doing a dyno day in Jan. Looking at the 12th. Everyone is welcome to come out but for the first 5 people that IM me you get 3 FREE pulls. We're also going to be providing food which my boss has told me will more than likely be free. It's mainly going to be LSX based Cars but I've really been beating on my boss to expand the shop to include Cobalts, SRT4's and other performance vehicles.

The dyno is a Dyno Dynamics.

5.stryder
That's it for now. These 5 are getting free dyno pulls but we would definatly like to see as many people as possible. More info will be posted as we get closer to the day.

Were down to tune that. What are the specifics on your car? We wont be doing any tuning on the dyno day though.

full turbo conversion in the works right now, allready running 60 lb injectors and a 2.8. but the blowers gotta go! will have the conversion complete in the next month or so. just need someone who has a lot of experience tuning turbo'd cars. currentlyy am planning on running a t3/t04 hybrid 60 trim. pics are in my turbo build thread.

So what turbo did you end up purchasing instead of the 60trim? It says you changed your order.

That should make some damn good power if you can actually put it to the ground and get some traction. I've done a built 2.2 with a garret 60trim and made 490flywheel on 15lbs. and race gas. Did one 2.0 that i removed the the blower and turbo'd. It was just a small turbo we only dialed it in for about 9lbs and 300flywheel. It ran great though. The one thing about the 60trim is that your really going to have to buzz the motor to see its potential. You will probably get full spool at about 4500-5000 rpms. You may see a little sooner spool times due to the ceramic BB and .63a/r. Keep me informed on the project, I'm curious to see how the build turns out and I will speak to my boss about tuning it. You may want to invest in some comp valve springs also if you haven't already.

i'll keep you posted.
Edit: i won't have to buzz the motor that much it's a 60 trim compressor side, but the turbine side is a t-3 housing with a .63 ar. it will spool much faster than you think. thats why i went with this turbo was for quick spool times.

Well as of right now this being our first Dyno Day and our Grand opening we our doing this all for free and we're giving away 30 spots. My boss has decided how many each forum gets. I was only given 6 spots to give out I gave 1 to a friend with a big turbo SRT4 and the rest to the first 5 people to respond on this forum. So we wont be selling any dyno pulls on this particular day. I would really like to see as many people as possible there though. I'd like to talk to everyone and find out what exactly all the locals are interested in seeing come out of our shop. Who knows if you show up there may be people on the list that dont show. If that happens we will most likely try and put something a little different on the dyno and see what it can do. A stg 3 with a 50 shot may be just that. I'm sure we will be doing more dyno days in the future and are definitely open to do any work or tuning on anyones Cobalt.

thanks and i am sure that i will be down there that day, if for nothing else, to see jimbo's new turbo setup... but im sure you could take to your boss, and fit one more in there, espically if it is something as rare as a stage 3 w/ nitrous, and i am also considering using you guys to tune my stock pcm for a 2.8 w/ nitrous tune so i hope we can work something out
