damn i have a 09 ss/tc but my exhaust is stock why do you need to have an exhaust already?

I'm gonna guess the non stock requirement was to eliminate the need to cut off the stock exhaust. Too bad I'm so far away or I'd be in.

My hangers are OEM. We got off the welded ones first time we tried the exhaust
