x2 man ask them how the hell you over boost on a supercharger, then ask him if your flux capacitor needs to be replaced as well. tell them it smelt like 1989 before it blew

There is a customer protection law that states something on the line of the manufacture is responsiable for all warranty repairs unless it is proven that something other than a manufacture defect caused the part to failer (ex: Tune, no oil changes). I cant remember what the law is but look into it.

Yeah deff tell them to look at the tune, it's the Stage 2 tune! Any I didn't know that about the oil pan, they are full of ****. Tunes to a supercharged engine does not add more boost, only a smaller pulley can do that.

Tell them that this is the reason you don't do any aftermarket crap to your car because if something like this happens, you're screwed. You kept all original parts on your car, dealer installed, and they need to replace it, or you're going to the higher-ups.

Hey, they might give you what that other guy got, a new engine, plus... i dunno.. Stage 3 UNDER WARRANTY! That'd be sweet!

Deff call their bluff, they do not know what they are talking about.

You are still under warranty right? I'm covered till 100K

the oil pan gasket cant matter anyway. they would have to prove that cause the failure. fight them. unfortunatly you got a **** dealer, there re good ones out there, few and far between. dont let them walk on you. the only thing i was wondering. your car is an 06 with 50k? is it still under warranty? if you didnt buy an extened warranty you might be SOL

im no gm mechanic by any means but this is what im getting from it
gm guys - this young kid has a tuner car that blew up, we can easily make up some **** and pin it on him
you - whatd you guys find
gm guys- well your flux capacitor was set to 1993 and not 1989 causing the polynesian gerbals in the blower to spin it at a rate of 4.3 million miles an hour thus sending more corn oil into your internal combustion injection overhead cam chamber than necessary and well your screwed
you - you guys have no idea what your talking about thats obvious
gm guys - **** hes onto us..... keep telling him **** till he gives up asking questions

honestly dont give up, keep asking questions and asking for proof of everything you can and turn it around on them and prove them wrong. if you give in theyll deffinitly put it in your butt

well i know on the new nissan GTR, people r blowing their trannies by using the launch control too much and Nissan is voiding their warranty by looking into the ECU bc it logs everytime a certain function in the car is turned off or something like that... and by doing that you void the warranty and ya..
but thats an $80,000 car, ours is 1/4 that price so idk
take em to court... you didnt touch the car.. google around... GM did this to u.. not ur fault.

If you had the GM stage II like you said, then it should come up as a GM tune on the Tech II. You did do a GM Stage 2 and not OTTP or ZZP, right?

AND
if thats the case insist on a tech coming from a diff dealer to check it

or on the regional service manager to come do it...make sure you get it looked at correctly

and you had the stage 2 installed at the dealer by the dealer right? on the books?

Maybe i misunderstood this post... but are you saying that you had to take the car in multiple times to get it retuned for odd reasons... or is that what theyre accusing you of?
cuz if u had it retuned a bunch of times, maybe they just tuned it to factory specs the most recent time and u had ur incident that way.

its the GM stage 2 Tune not someone elses....they are making acusations that i was going to someone to have my car tuned and when i would take it to cuz the CEL was always on that i would go back to them and have it returned to factory and they are saying a factory stage 2 tune could not produce the power needed to crack the block and destroy all 4 pistons....just one piston but not all 4

P.S. they told me i should have been running 93 octane not 91

See Marty, this is how you keep your warranty. This beer is equal to 93 octane.

Have you contacted GM's warranty line yet? If not: (1-800)-222-1020

If you have and they still refuse: http://www.bbb.org/us/auto-line-lemon-law/

Don't be afraid to use the BBB if you've exhausted your options. Companies hate getting black marks from the BBB. It makes them look bad. I've used the BBB several times to resolve disputes where the regular customer service reps have failed.

call all the local papers and local news stations too and advise them of whats going on and the dealership that started the buttbanging. put the media heat on them. that would look good for their sales with the local news van and a reporter outside the building. plus itll make tem realize your serious and not screwing around. if EVERY option you try fails and your going to give up, call them and tell them your going to drive the next car you get thru the front door of their office. I told my local insurance company that. lol

alright after looking it up. YOU SIGN A WAVIER thats a little diffferent. if you sign a waiver stating that you knowingly void your warranty if you turn off the VDC, then its in black and white and there is no issue.
