POSTPONED!!! December SoCal Meet

MEET HAS BEEN POSTPONED

due to lack of participation, just a busy month for everyone, sorry maybe next weekend or in January we can do it

Date: December 21st
When: 11:00 A.M.
Where: 1150 W Foothill Blvd, Azusa, CA 91702
What: Meet and Cruise

I didn't realize it but the highest elevation is about 3,500'.

Ok, I went up Azusa on Wednesday and it was 34* F and snowing at the top. There was snow, rain, ice, mud, rocks and some minor flooding.(I now know first hand just why everyone hates the stock Pirelli's in the snow

) I'm sure it has been plowed already(I saw 1 plow on my way up, and 2 on my way back down), it was only about 2" deep...and it was a bit warmer today and DRY so I'm sure that a lot of it has already melted away. So I'll go up there again after I get off work tomorrow to check it out make sure it's still good enough for Sunday. Here's a few pics I got...while I wasn't sliding around

well all the ice/snow is gone(theres a little bit on the shoulders in the shade) and it was all plowed so the road is nice and clear. So as long as it doesnt rain/snow tomorrow we are good to go.

btw it was only down to 38*and that was around 6PM in the dark

they close the canyons down all the time right now cuz of the rain... its a great idea just not the right time.... especially with guys who havent done it....
