To reduce the chance this turns into a cluster I'd suggest setting and posting times events will be happening besides just the kickoff time, and more specifically, if everyone is going to go on a cruise the tentative time to leave and post the directions/map of said route. The 74 goes east and west so is it going to be the Ortega side or up through Hemet towards Idyllwild? Also if a large group is going to go to the buffet or some other restaurant around the area that morning it might be good to give them a call as a heads-up so they're prepared and people aren't sitting around waiting forever to get seated and their food.
For everyone posting on the other forums it would also be good to make a post reminding everyone that acting like a jack@$$, driving stupid, burnouts, etc. will only draw unwanted attention and won't be tolerated. There's already a good chance that since these are public sites the local law enforcement will be on the lookout. And if they haven't been made aware of it yet, large groups of "sporty" looking loud cars driving through town will definitely draw attention. Murrieta has a couple officers who are terrible about aftermarket/modified vehicles and Temecula isn't great themselves (got to love the RCSO), so if everyone is driving through we want to keep it as low key as possible. I know I'm definitely going to be driving within the legal limits at all times and only bringing a CARB legal vehicle. I've seen too many giant meets turn into trouble in the past.

As of today it looks like I might still be able to make it but there's a chance I'll be flying to Texas for work right around that timeframe. Hopefully know something by early next week.

It's been over a year since I last drove west on the 74, but at the time they had it shut down in some parts to one lane for upgrade projects on the western side with an estimated completion date of some time a couple years from now. A good chunk of it should be fine but it might not hurt for someone to drive the length this weekend to see how it looks before you have 20, 30 or more cars trying to do a cruise.
As of yesterday the eastern section of the 74 towards the Coachella Valley side was shut down in parts due to the recent storm and chains required due to the snow. If the weather clears up it should be fine but you might want to check the forecast and road conditions a few days out if anyone ends up going that way.

i checked the weather. nothing can be set in stone till pretty much 10 days before. so give it a couple days just to be sure
as far as a police officer, if one shows up, I will talk to them. But I doubt we will have problems.
Yess Rissa it is at 11. but are you,me,jerrod, andrew, Dark Ride, and others meeting up before we meet at toms farm?

Well actually we're all gonna meet up in Corona around 9am, which is probably way off of your schedule. I posted in the 2nd post of this thread where all the sol/sky's are gonna meet up in Corona.
