February socalecotecs meet-angeles crest highway run
I can't go now because I was reading the earlier posts about tickets for no front plates. My car does not have front plates until I get registered in CA. I wanna wait 90 days so that I don't have to pay taxes again (I bought in another state). Have fun guys!
it will be at 1030. just to get us there in pleanty of time. ill post a map in a minute

Well, I was told by a CHP officer, that if I'm pulled over by CHP, it's possible to still get a ticket. Santa Clarita Sheriffs dept. said that they would most likely not ticket me (except for a fix-it-ticket). An LAPD guy said that most likely, LAPD would not ticket for that. Who's jurisdiction are ya'll going to be under at the park you're going to? I'm kinda bummed out about this. I was bummed when it was canceled last week...lol.
one additional note, is that I have the car smogged. Also, I have the paper work in the car from when I went to the DMV to get it registered. I simply did not complete the registration because of the taxes having to be paid again. But, yes, the car is registered completely in my name, just in AL instead of CA. The problem lies in that I'm supposed to have the car registered in CA within 10 days of bringing it into CA. It's been about 30 days. DMV said that if I wait 90 days, I'll just have to pay some late fees and the registration, but all of that is a lot cheaper than paying taxes again!

Well, IF you get pulled over, you could just tell them that your primary residence is in whatever state your from and thats why the car is registered there... it really shouldnt be a big deal... i know i wouldnt worry about it.
where are we eating tonight!!!!
