Fontana will be open Feb 28. I'm heading down but most likely will run my GTO. A couple of friends are going and my brothers as well. Friends have a R/T challenger, 01 SVT Cobra & 06 GTO. My brothers have a 98 LS1 Z28 & an 05 GTO. If I do take my Cobalt, my only fair match would be the Cobra. He ran a 9.2 @ 78 at Irwindale. That same night I ran a 9.3 @ 80.

I want to see your car run in the 1/4. I'm sure you'll probably trap 110+. I saw the video of you nailing 160+, looked pretty darn fast.

 

Fomoso is the next place I wanna go to. At Fontana I trapped 111 but got 13.7s

I think I saw you slip second gear on one of your runs I know that happens to me sometimes.

 

I guess my gms3 PCM is pretty good after all. I got a 9.31 @ 80.05 mph w/ a 2.3 60'. As usual, traction for FWD cars sucks. My PB at that track was a 9.1, that's when on a magical night, traction was good and got a 2.2 60'. I can't remember the et. My cobalt hates irwindale, but my gto loves it. It grips good any time I go. Hopefully one day our cobalts will get some traction. Has anyone had any luck with traction their on their cobalts at irwindale?

 

A good clutch, DR's & stage 1 axles with mounts should do the work.
